Groundhopping with Charlton Athletic

May have missed one or two scrolling through but I made it 93 grounds for competitive Charlton games, and another 9 for friendlies/ non-Charlton.
Ricoh will be new for me1 -
85 for me0

12 Charlton games and 4 non Charlton games, more than I would have thought to be honest0

I’m unclear whether I can count a ground twice depending on the opposition eg old Wembley for both Blackburn and Sunderland 98? Assuming not, I’m coming in at around 70, and it surprised me a bit that it’s so high! Harlow and Maidstone were nice ones to bag.0

Love this list! Thanks @shirty5.
I totted up how many we have played at since I started going in 1990. I didn't count Wembley each time so I made it 128 grounds of which I have seen us at 114.4 -
Using the list/criteria I make it 117 in competitive matches2

Good point. That would add a few to mind.Weegie Addick said:I’m unclear whether I can count a ground twice depending on the opposition eg old Wembley for both Blackburn and Sunderland 98? One per ground regardless if you have seen us play at Loftus Road for example against QPR and Fulhamstonemuse said:

113 from that list. Will be 114 after Stoke. Feels like cheating to include Blackburn, Sunderland and Leyton Orient at Wembley, but my total includes those1

It’s how many grounds, not teams. So Wembley would be 1.JohnnyJoeyDeeDee said:113 from that list. Will be 114 after Stoke. Feels like cheating to include Blackburn, Sunderland and Leyton Orient at Wembley, but my total includes those3 -
78 I think, including both playoff finals, seeing that it was 2 different Wembley Stadiums.
AFC Wimbledon, Millwall and Reading are the only clubs where I've been to away games at more than 1 ground.

I thought there was one in 2007. I remember Chris Iwelumo playing the season he joined us?Algarveaddick said:
There was an earlier one than that, Clem.Clem_Snide said:98.
The Aldershot friendly was a 1-1 draw in 2011 which I was at, but am not counting.0 -

I make it 43, or 44 if I'm allowed Upton Park where I saw Charlton play but never West Ham. Only counting Wembley once.
The only list I actually keep is current grounds of the current 92 clubs where I've seen any Charlton game, so including friendlies and women's games; that stands at 49 since Wrexham.
I hadn't realised that Bristol Rovers were the only club I've seen play us on more than one home ground. Coventry this season will make two.0 -
72 grounds in England/Wales with Charlton if you include the demolished ones according to my Futbology logs. 64 current ones.Hillsborough the most at 8 times, Stamford Bridge 6, oh, and 7 trips to The Den without a win for me.Without Charlton it’s 76, as I’ve been to games in Italy and the Netherlands.0
