Got to say, I played catch up on their material as I missed them first time round, when I did, I found out that Oasis were the most successful cover band of all time, RIP Mani, loved your work.3

Real legend. He played on stage with friends of mine covering The Smiths back in 2011 before any reunion was about to happen. Then once they confirmed the Heaton Park gig he championed for them to be on the same bill. Really just loved music, supported independent musicians and was a great character of whom everyone he met loved. Such a shame!

Great band, one of my all time favourites - met my wife at their reunion tour at Heaton Park in 2012.
Met Mani once at an afterparty of an Oasis gig where he was DJing. Obviously swarmed by lots of drunk blokes telling him how much they loved the Stone Roses. He had all the time in the world for us and told us how life changing that album was for him.RIP.6 -
What a shame, great band - their first album was the first non-rockabilly LP I bought as an adult. Poor kids, bless them. RIP Mani.0

I went to watch Morecambe v Yeovil yesterday. Whoever was playing the music at half time was obviously showing their respects. All the tracks played featured Mani, including 'I am the resurrection', 'I wanna be adored' and 'Country girl'.4

On the Sunday night MOTD, during the coverage of the Saturday games, Fools Gold was the sound track.Wasn’t mentioned, but can’t be a coincidence.Nice touch by the editor.4
