I understand southampton and stoke are good squads but you don’t go from barely conceding goals to conceding 8 goals in our last two the players look terrible but it’s a tactical issue.

Looked like a pen to me. This is an utter embarrassment. Arguably the worst 2 defensive performances I’ve seen from a Charlton side.
You only been supporting since Saturday?

Dread to think what Coventry will do to us on Saturday. It certainly won’t be pleasant.
He’ll probably play DM as usual

Players just not good enough. I think Jones knows that. Games over tonight I’m going to Coventry on Saturday guess I’ll be leaving early.  Not being funny but omg we look bang average in fact poor.

We are just moving to where we all thought we would be - down the bottom in a relegation battle.

Late points gained against Watford Hull West Brom have delayed us being in the mix, but think we all thought this is what we would be facing.

This midfield is just rancid. Zero pace or athleticism.

Coventry and Carey need someone more dynamic in that other CM role. Playing all 3 against these top sides is torture.

Kaminski wasn't at fault for any of the 5 goals on Saturday, but sadly seems at fault for 2 today, maybe time to try Mannion.

Also Ramsay has gone under the radar a bit in just how bad he's been in recent games, really been found out since the sending off IMO, seems to have lost his positional sense, and isn't winning 1v1s like he was at the start of the season. Worrying

It's so weird... It's like watching the reverse of a Nathan Jones Charlton side. I don't get what's going on. We are giving up so much space and shots around our box. It's the opposite of everything NJ has built.

That third one is undoubtedly a bad mistake from Kaminski but the first was a fluke that could not have flown in more perfectly and couldn't be repeated.

Yeah. He's been one of Stokes best players tonight!

Yep agreed, he's been utterly abysmal since the Millwall game.

TC down the right, back to Bree then Cov, and we end up launching it up the middle, Berry's headed easily collected by the keeper.

As an aside, I’d forgotten how fucking painful it is listening to Iain Dowie. Bloke can’t string a sentence together.
If the game wasn’t annoying enough, Dowie’s attempts to speak English are making my ears bleed. Some of the noises he’s making, I’m starting to think he’s trying to talk underwater.
  • Got to say, we look absolutely devoid of any attacking ideas, the whole team tonight are having shockers. The only one who looks like hes trying something is Berry. Too many of ours are totally anonymous tonight.

We can't score goals and now starting ship a lot of them .. very worrying.

Leaburn and Campbell have a combined 1 goal in 31 appearances this season
xG of 0.00 this half. 0 shots.

Defense have been poor, but what can you say about the other end...
Campbell needs taking out the side. He slows every attack down.

Stoke down our right, cross deflected for a corner. 7mins added time, and now there's a Stoke player down in ther centre circle.
  • Shocking not one of our players has done anything
  • Stoke commentators:

”that’s really been Charlton’s only tactic, just launching it towards the edge of the box”
  • Are we definitely sure the Charlton players know which goal we're shooting at?

Is it just me or is the ball really slowing down like the pitch has been over watered? Particularly in our RW area

    TC offers us absolutely nothing
  • Damage limitation now but can someone tell me how Campbell keeps his place? Virtually every ball he plays is backwards. How many times does he try to go past a player ?

Kamiscki shocking for the first. Somehow not his worst mistake of the game

Stoke have the best defensive record in the league, if you hadn’t noticed. Combined with the ridiculous start, I’m not surprised our confidence is shot and have created nothing.

Youth Player Bias. He would have been the scapegoat without a doubt if he was signed from Barnsley or somewhere like that
