ROLL CALL FOR COVENTRY.

I will be there.
Feels like going in for an operation. Don't want it but know it's necessary.
In pain but will anaesthetise beforehand and look forward with hope to recovery afterwards.5 -
two thousand Charlton fans being sent to Coventry and nobody is telling us why 😉3
-
Expecting the worst but hoping for a miracle!
On the plus side from last night - we mastered a couple of songs that could come in handy at the weekend:
"3 nil down, who gives a fuck? We're Charlton Athletic and we're staying up"
and
"We've had a shot"

There are a couple of shuttle services from Coventry in the hour before kickoff, but if you're earlier than that there are trains from Nuneaton to Leamington Spa which call at Coventry Arena and it's worth trying to get on at an earlier stop if you have the option - from Coventry to the Arena they get a bit crowded.twiggyaddick said:Yep, getting train up from Gloucester...was excited until a few days ago

You can get a train from Coventry to Coventry arena, I'm changing at Birmingham, then onto Coventry, then onto Coventry arena, stadiums right by the arena stopNew ground for me. Meeting a Charlton supporting friend in Birmingham and then short train journey to Coventry Central. How we get to the ground from there is still unknown!!
Not sure if I am really looking forward to it now, but then I have been party to many humiliations over the years. 7-0 is my record (Brighton or Luton, I can't remember).1 -
Three of us going - new ground for two of us1

Getting lost and dying of exposure?llama_child_21cws said:Climbing Snowdon on Friday then travelling down. What could go wrong?
Though it could be less painful than attending Saturday.0 -
I can't go, so will watch aboard not sure where yet, but have the pilot awaiting instructions.... somewhere in Europe...
Interesting how Charlton are a hot ticket for away fans
two friends who support Middlesborough couldn't get tickets..their allocation sold out
before it went to general sale - allocation 2346....surely this will be increased?
& Pompey pal "sold out in minutes unfortunately" despite having pts tickets were impossible
I wonder if there is an agrument for in particular the Pompey fixture to allocate several blocks in West Stand for away fans?
Unless home tickets are going to sell out makes sense to sell more seats to away fans?2 -
I gather it is an hourly service.twiggyaddick said:Yep, getting train up from Gloucester...was excited until a few days ago

Apparently there are buses to and from the station.0 -
As many options as the Coventry forwards will have on Saturday.Swindon_Addick said:

You're all mental, and have my deepest admiration and sympathy. Personally I think if we get tonked on Saturday that the club should give a bonus loyalty to points to anyone who went to all 3 of Southampton, Stoke and Coventry.3

not great weather for a traditional chasing back to the station0

I am not there today.
As long as the players try I am sure our brilliant fans will sing all game, like Manchester United away in the league cup.

On the train at Euston.
Off to meet an old university mate, who's a Coventry fan, for lunch. Then off to the game. We're meeting again after the game in the Casino for a pint, then off for dinner. I'm staying overnight, then back home tomorrow.

Going to this and will stay to the very end and clap what I hope will be a heroic performance regardless of losing 6-00

At Strensham services….amongst Swansea fans ..1

15 mins from Cov, weather seems to be getting worse the further north up the country we go. If we’re lucky the match will be called off!0

For anyone who went to Dhillons brewery before the Coventry game, they put a lot of pictures of pre and post-match customers on facebook. Not a lot of red on show but if you were there you might spot yourself.
