Oh it’s not the final lol
    i just presumed it was

Celtic win 3-1 after ET, very harsh pen against Celtic IMO. Ranger played with 10 men since the 38min after a straight red.

Poor not being able to beat a mid-table side with ten men until extra time but a win is a win.

St Mirren will be a tough game in the final.

    Great stuff.
  • Chermiti could well end up being the worst signing in Rangers history. 8m rising to 10m for a guy who looks like he won a competition to play, is horrendously bad recruitment.

And this is after Everton paid 11.5m for him and he scored no goals in 25 appearances. His agent must be a fucking genius.

Martin O’Neill joins Neil Lennon in becoming managers to have beaten both rangers football clubs.

Obviously disappointed with the result but it was great to see what felt more like a proper blood and thunder, old school, Old Firm. May be entirely coincidental but having a decent number of both sets of fans in the stadium really makes a difference to the atmosphere and environment the match is played in.

The second half gave me some comfort that under Rhol we might be able to turn the tide and finish the season with some respectability.

He looks absolutely dreadful. Had a couple of chances that it would have been harder to miss than score yet he still couldn’t find the net!

The worst team in champions league history, soon to be the worst team in the Europa League.

Sounds about right. A truly miserable season for Scottish football. Celtic and Rangers both awful and in the Conference league Aberdeen are currently 33rd of 36 teams, even below Lincoln Red Imps and Shamrock Rovers.

Also spare a thought for Nice. In last years Europa they didn't win a game (D3 L5) and in this years Europa they are P4 L4.

    Nice
  • Celtic fans once again disgrace themselves by booing the Remembrance Day silence ahead of their game yesterday. The referee was forced to abandon it after just 10 seconds.

Which does lead to the question of.........what exactly did people expect to happen? It was never going to go well.

Celtic close to appointing Wilfried Nancy……pronounced Noncy which is very apt.

This will be a really really interesting appointment with him coming over from MLS where he's had a lot of success in a short period of time. Plays a very attacking high press style with flying wingbacks and a back 3.

Could go horribly wrong but could also be a masterstroke like Ange.

Enjoyable game that. Good goal from Feyenoord to take the lead, which felt ominous, but Celtic grew into it and started playing some really decent football and scored three really good goals. Felt like Daizan has been off the pace lately, but looked sharp, pressed hard and was instrumental in getting them going. A nice European sign off from MON! 🍀

A cynic might say that the approach of the transfer window has given him some motivation!

Agreed. And unless the Board show some decent backing to the incoming manager, you couldn’t really blame him for getting out. One more Euro game I think, before the window opens.

I don’t think any of us can predict what this Board will do but I don’t see any kind of big spend.
Maeda going without a number of replacements across the field will be a disaster for Celtic.

Celtic move to within 2 points of leaders Hearts with a game in hand. Rangers’ point at home move them up  to 4th (Fourth).

    Hearts draw, Celtic win.

The big two now level on points at the top with the pair facing each other on Sunday in Nancy' first game in charge.
  • Hearts have seriously messed things up, with just 7 points from 6 league games since they beat Celtic. In the same period Celtic have won 5 out of 5.
