Advance warning

Due to planned engineering work the lines in the Southampton Central area will be closed.

So this means people travelling to Southampton from Waterloo will have to use a rail replacement bus service between Eastleigh & Southampton.

although had a quick look Eastleigh to Southampton is less than a 10 min drive admittedly a lot in same boat but a cab direct from Eastleigh to the ground could be the play.

Surely you're better off getting the return coach provided by the club then.

Poor work by @clive :)for not advising of this.   I think you should take over the train information duties.

Yeah but be quick, the Larkfield coach leaves in half an hour

No......too big to get up the Hamble. You want the yacht We are in Trouble.

  • Eastleigh station to central Southampton c. £17 in an Uber - but they'll need to be a lot of Ubers and taxis available.

If I lived in South London, I'd be driving, parking up in the city centre (plenty available) and walking the 15mins to the ground.

There are also no trains from Dartford and Kent, it’s replacement buses until you reach Crayford/SG/Barnehurst.

National Rail says Southampton to Greenhithe after the game takes 1 hour extra compared to usual.

    Via South coast instead?

Edit: nope, those are bollocksed as well.  Oh well, a drive and a premier Inn it is.  I'll call Lenny.

I can only see Safe Standing available. Does anyone know if that’s all they have? Or have all the seats sold out?

How much of a headache is it going to be getting a cab from Eastleigh?

There's usually cabs outside the station but not a lot.
Obviously you can get an Uber.
Depending on the time will depend how long a cab takes. Obviously the nearer ko time the longer it will take. 🤪
  • This is probably a game where the club should be laying on extra coaches

With bus replacement services operating between Eastleigh and Southampton Central due to engineering works on Saturday, supporters are advised to plain their journeys in advance and allow extra time.
