Such devastating news. Never spoke to him but was probably the most recognisable Charlton fan.

I always saw him when I went to away games, and at Coventry last week I walked past him on the train platform and pointed him out to my 10 year old girl as an absolute legend of a fan.

    Rest in peace.

Horrible news. Never knew him but I knew of him, as I expect most of us did. So sad for everyone, especially his family and many, many friends. Hope everyone is OK.

    RIP

So so sad. Didn't know him personally but as many others did, saw him regularly outside the north stand.

I always admire our 'super fans' from afar, their love for the club and it's people is inspirational. God bless him.

I had no idea who the fan was, but when I heard it was a "Charlton legend" when it came to being a fan, I only had two people in my head, Seb, and this gentleman.

Absolutely devastated to be honest, a person I would see at so many games home and away over the years.

RIP, a really, really great person and a fantastic supporter of our club.
