RIP Addick legend, and my condolences to his family and friends. Also I hope all the fans who witnessed the emergency unfolding will be ok.
I have emailed Portsmouth to complain about the chanting of some of their fans, and also some of the disgusting things said on X - and asking them to put something on their website to acknowledge this.14 -

I said on the match thread as this was unfolding that it felt weird to be so worried about someone you'd never met, and the same applies to mourning their loss. My sympathies to those of you who knew him to speak to, as well as his family and friends, and I hope anyone involved in trying to help him is OK. RIP to a proper Addicks legend.25

I, like many many others, am apart of an era where going to Charlton meant at some point you crossed paths with you.
I Didn’t know you personally but just seeing you at away games as a kid in the prem became a big part of my experience, always excitedly telling my dad I’d seen you.Charlton won’t be the same! RIP15 -
Very, very sad news. In one of my trips back from the States I bumped into him at, I think, Cambridge away a few years ago. Walked with him from the station and chatted. Such a nice guy.RIP.8

RIP, absolute legend. At away games he was my lucky charm. I knew if I saw him, we’d win. Only spoke to him a few times.1

Terribly sad news, compounded by the time of year. No one should go to a game and not come home.
I remember being a kid some 30 years ago, and he always told us the scores as they came in.
RIP, fellow Addick.

Such awful sad news . Like a few others spoke to him at Coventry. I am sure as awful as it is . If he could choose a way to go then it would have been watching his beloved Charlton. RIP4

Was an absolute constant, always had time for a greeting prior to the match and shared to many grimace's after.
One of those where there will always be something missing now.
Rest in Peace to a true fan legend.3
