the Seb mosaic is a truly beautiful tribute. There’s very few fans that reach the threshold for such recognition but this along with the circumstance really does feel one of them. From past experience there’s a chance some individuals might start fundraisers etc, but something meaningful like this needs proper ownership, organisation and governance etc.

I’ve no doubt the money would easily be raised. Could you look into and consider please?

Might just be me, but do others think something like this would be fitting?

Yeah he deserves a tribute that's for sure. Even those who didn't know him would of seen him at some point in their Charlton supporting life.
He, like Seb, for many was an ever present and almost like family when travelling with this club.

Absolutely. Something similar to the Seb mosaic would be great.

I don't think you'd find many people who would say no.

I think this is a great idea, but we maybe need to let a little time pass for the friends and family to grieve and deal with such a sad loss. But I’ll certainly pledge, £500, to get things started at the appropriate time.

I can only speak as I find and I would agree that there should be a fundraiser in memory of Norman and recognition of his support home and away at show at the football club for younger generations to witness as per Seb Lewis

I agree completely about giving time mate, just felt it might be wise if some body / group were publicly clear with ‘don’t worry, we’ll take something on’ to head off 1,2,3 individuals (woth good intentions) going off half cocked etc, if there was general consensus that something felt appropriate.

    That’s a very kind gesture 👏

Give us a bit of time, please. Club haven’t even released the name yet so neither have we. Once the time is right we will absolutely do so.

If anyone on here has a family contact for Norm, could you DM me please?

just an idea but it would be nice if somehow the headphones motif could be included in a future kit design & a portion of the sales used to raise funds for an appropriate charity

players come & go but it's fans like Norm that define a club

Would definitely contribute.  Seb and him were the two most universally recognisable fans we have had in my lifetime I reckon. Always constant at games.

Just a thought, but still plenty of bricks on the Charlton station railway bridge...
