Here's a thought. Could be done quickly, and hopefully not cost much...

There are still plenty of bricks of the Charlton station railway bridge...

RIP headphones Norm. We didn't know each other but we did share a hi five after scoring at some random away day up North many many years ago. I've just spent the last 20 mins explaining to my wife why guys like Norm & Sebbo are the life and soul of our club. Both now gone, very sad day

How about putting this in the site banner? he deserves it
Can definetly see a big banner of this being made similar to Sebbo's and passed round the stands. What a pair of legends we have to remember and celebrate.

For Tuesday’s game, a minutes applause starting in the 12rh minute would be good, the club could put this on the led screens around the ground.

Absolutely devastating news. It's been a long time since I followed Charlton away or at home for that matter. Hundreds of memories of course, and almost definately the Norms and Sebs of this world would of been there as well. Brother Addicks!

    RIP Headphones Norm.

I’ve recognised Norm from the day I started going to Charlton as a 7 year old, I’m now 35. The bloke with the badges, hat and headphones, I’ve never spoken a word to him but always saw him and associated him with Charlton. I saw him last week at Coventry, like every game. It’s going to be strange not seeing him anymore. This is such sad sad news, RIP legend.

    So so sad
RIP to a proper Charlton legend
Perhaps there is some solace that he died at the place he loved
But for now, it’s just awfully sad.
