Wolves away, nice big away end in a big ground, they are absolutely pants and it's not too hard/long to get to

London Prem side away. Spurs, Arsenal or West Ham. Mainly coz my son hasn't seen us play them or been to their stadiums.

Please not a lower League Northern side away.

    It'll be Portsmouth away
  • Fancy an early exit this year, anyone will do. Concentrate on the league, save the fans some money and no messing about. (No fun to be had without Chelmsford in the hat)
I’m sure Nathan will oblige via a debatable team selection ☹️
  • It’ll be Millwall at home so we can debate again the policing and exit routes. 😉😆

Shrewsbury away would be worse. Curse of the former player in Chuks AND former manager in Appleton.

    Hopefully away, and if away:

Man City, Spurs, West Ham, Liverpool or Newcastle would be nice.

Huddersfield, Preston, Boro or Pompey will be reality.

I’d actually be a bit nervous about drawing anyone we really want to beat (Spanners or the Nigels). If our form hasn’t picked up by then, NJ might be tempted to rotate heavily, and we could end up with a repeat of that 2015 League Cup game against Palarse. Much safer to avoid the emotional landmines unless we’re going in with a full-strength XI.

It's going to be Cambridge United away, making it our fifth trip there in two seasons.

I'm 100% confident NJ would put out our strongest team if we played Millwall or Palace.

Except Millwall then we'll have all this palaver with leaving the ground and getting to the station.

    Ok, not Millwall.
We have Blackburn away just before the third round, and Sheffield United at home just afterwards.
Have we ever been in one of those situations where we have had to play the same team in succession in a league and cup scenario, I know it sometimes happens?

    Blackburn away.

Game rained off with 10 mins to go when we are winning 2 - 0

Yes and then watch us create more angst by a ticket allocation policy that upsets everyone 😉😆

In truth a proper Top 6 Prem team would be great.

If away we’d make a few bob , if at home it would be nice for those that get a ticket.

I’d take the home tie every time however.

Has anyone on here ever had a problem getting a home ticket since we fell out of the Prem ?
  • What are the odds of two big teams drawing either other? - Am going for Liverpool vs. Arsenal
