Will be interesting this one, can’t see NJ binning any of the new signings as some haven’t really got going yet, but also tricky trying to cover the injured players as they will be back eventually so the we have too many in a position, maybe he will be forced into more loans?, he no doubt knows where he wants to strengthen which will be the intriguing bit because that will be upsetting a couple of regulars maybe.
Why would he ridiculous comment … if all our new signings had been with us on tour you would see different set of players .. but without a proper reserve league players like Knibbs , Kelman have to get fit in championship matches
What the fuck are you talking about??
    Where’s the ridiculous comment??

It's Onel Hernandez on a permanent deal. Joining as a left wing back and backup goalkeeper.

    (I really hope this isn't true 😆)

Mo Salah deliberately trying to engineer a move out of Liverpool, to join us.

Nathan sees him as a perfect backup for Tyreece Campbell.

Knowing NJ he'll play him as a wingback 🤭.

    Striker.......striker.....oh, and a striker.
Don’t need a striker need decent service ..
We need both to be better than they have been.

    No rumours, just wishes

Knibbs has a lot of fans on here, I am not one of them, he always looks to me like a fish out of water. Sell him in January IF there is a buyer out there
The same goes for Olaofe, can't hit a large barn door when shooting; Burke, Rankin-Costello, even Leaburn, sell sell sell for any price, we need the money being wasted on their wages.
Recall Kanu from Walsall. His confidence must be very high, he's now their penalty taker
I've said before we need reinforcements in every position, keeper excepted. Not a clue who, it all depends on who goes and what money the owners are prepared to splash. Striker is an essential, there is surely an up and comer or a gnarled veteran knocking about in the lower leagues, even non league who could do a job.

Not a rumour but as I’ve mentioned elsewhere, Ryan Hardie is likely to move on in January and we should be all over that, as long as Wrexham don’t see us as a rival.

Squad overhaul in January is a terrible idea that would almost certainly result in relegation. Thankfully the club are smarter than this, we will add quality in a few areas we are short, and along with players returning should get us back on track
so what's QUOTE .. 'we will add quality in a few areas we are short,' UNQUOTE if it's not a squad 'overhaul' ?
I'm advocating outing a very few mostly fringe players who are a waste of space and wages and replacing them with, to refer back to your comment, better quality players, a 'minor overhaul' but a much needed one i m o
(As I also said an issue will be who will want to buy or find room for our outcasts to bring in even a little cash ?)

Joe Aribo anyone for 1.5 million? Could be a good option. Would love to see him return.

I think they will get decent service if we get an engine in the middle of the park or anyone who can compete athletically at this level in centre mid. Wil unlock a lot. Anderson might help here

No thanks, if you mean Fukuda. He is like a 6th former at a boys school that only plays rugby. Kyoto Sanga's season finished on Saturday. They finished 3rd. Fukuda with 3 goals and 1 assist. Their Brazilian front 2 are who we should be going for but Rafael would probably cost near £2m. He's my hope. The natural replacement for Chuks. 2nd top scorer in the J league too.

    Prem loan?
striker recall, just because they are confident in league1/2 doesn’t mean they are ready, when fit we’ve got last season cream and people are moaning about them
japanese fella, risk that he steps up adapts
asimwee on loan for a reason

none of these options are going to improve us enough.

Two players who would be cheap but could fill gaps are:

Joe Powell (Burton) played in West Ham youth with Coventry. Best position is LWB. Burton keep moving him around to plug gaps in their small squad.
Akin Famewo (Hull) Lewisham born. LCB. Played for Jones at Luton. Played 59 times for Charlton five years ago. Only 28 now and a better player. Cannot break into Hull side now because they are on a roll.

If our owners are willing to splash the cash we could do better, but are they willing? If not, we need to improve our squad for a relegation battle and these two would give us options where we are weak.
