Revivr - The British Heart Foundation

Hello all,

I work for the BHF, I was at the game on Saturday, I have a ST in the NW Block D. We all knew Norm even if it was just to nod to and it was awful watching what happened to him. The responders were first class and one member of the crowd was administering CPR just before the responders starting working on Norm.

I am aware that his passing is still obviously very raw but the purpose of this post is to make everyone on this board aware of a quick free way to learn CPR that is taught at the BHF. Only 1 in 10 out of hospital cardiac arrests are survived, one reason because people do not know CPR, if you are given CPR early you have a much better chance of making it. I’m not going to speculate on Norms underlying health but in many cases people who suffer cardiac arrest once given CPR and if necessary are worked on with a defibrillator can pull though.
So please take 15 minutes of your day to learn CPR. You just need a cushion and your mobile phone. It may help save a life and it may save your own. See the link below.

We’re also in the process of registering all defibrillators on The Circuit, the BHF defib registration site. So you will know where a defib is located near you .

Thanks for reading

RIP Headphones Norm.
