The solution for our injury problems

With our current injuries perhaps #cafc should give the players Crookes Halibut Oil. If it was good enough for Jimmy Seed's FA Cup Winners....

The museum, where this letter is stored, is open tomorrow, Friday, from 11 to 2.30. Free Entry in Harvey Gardens

Add turmeric to the halibut oil and there's the solution

Or try practicing shooting, tackling and heading a ball after each training session. Get those right and they won’t hurt themselves so much. Worked for Ronaldo and Beckham and they were/are players that got ‘clattered’ a lot more than any of our lot.

Oh, and for a certain young man, NEVER, EVER back out of a tackle. ALWAYS go into a tackle fully committed. You will get seriously hurt one day if you are not committed to winning the ball.

In that case maybe a diet of smoked kippers would work.

    Whooooosh
  • Halibut Oil capsules must have been pretty cutting edge in 1947.

They hadn't reached Lancashire yet. The Burnley players were instead given engine oil before the 1947 Cup Final.
