Tanto superb today. A machine of a player who has the spark to create something from nothing16

Great point, they hit the woodwork twice, but Leaburn should have scored.
Pleased for TC, he needed that.
Need to get Tanto in those wide positions more often where he can cause problems.
Hopefully this is the start of Anderson making an impact at this level. He has the potential to overtake Docherty and make that spot his own.
Fullah didn’t do his chances any harm. Not a game or a position where he could really show what he offers going forward.
Nice bit of skill from JRC, like Tanto we’ve not really seen enough of what he’s meant to bring.
Still have the same concerns about our limitations with the ball and our lack of threat up front.
But we have the January window soon, and as we move through the season I still see a few really stepping up.15 -
Wasnt able to watch today, what position was fullah playing?1

Much better today. Battled and defended well. Pleased for TC. He is young and still developing. UTA.2

Would definitely like to see Karoy, Tanto and Ibby start the next game, TC on at 60 minutes.2

I saw that too but I also heard the Campbell song being sung very loudly when he came onswords_alive said:TC reluctant to go to the traveling fans when he scored. Clearly visible from TV coverage, even when pushed that way by one of our players (not sure who). Understandable for the grief he has been getting from a significant number. Also shows what a sensitive soul he is, and possibly why that grief can be damaging. Hopefully he kicks on and can get back to a more natural forward, out-ball position with other players returning.13 -
And our u18s beat Liverpool 3-2 in the FA Youth Cup.25

As others have pointed out I would love to see Tanto on the wing. His work rate and threat would be such a plus on one side or the other. Kinda wish that yellow he got was worth it as Allsop needed a slap.4

Great point, if Charlie is back next week, pair him with Tanto and we’ll be good6

Good point but the gap to the auto's is starting to worry me.32

Very happy with an away point given our run and the injuries. Hopefully push on from here. If TC didn't want to go to our fans after scoring, anyone on tge terraces supporting our club and abusing our player can fuck off. That's what the abuse does - hurts one of ours!14

Left Wing-Back and probably looked the most assured, out of those who have started there of late.Alwaysneil said:Wasnt able to watch today, what position was fullah playing?5 -
We will get better with players coming back - great results today and well done !4

I didn't notice that (as I was too busy celebrating myself.) that's a shame if that's the case. Probably doesn't help on here with how that thread we have on him is titled.swords_alive said:TC reluctant to go to the traveling fans when he scored. Birmingham were effectively 2nd in the home form table before KO.
I was praying for a point to halt our run of defeats.
I think we bored them into submission and dragged them down to our level.
They woke up not long after we equalised, but once they had lost the momentum it's often hard to get it back and so it proved.
Anyway I couldn't care less, we are playing better teams with bigger budgets and if we can stay up it will be quite some achievement, especially with 5 medium/long term injuries.
Well done to all involved and especially to Tyreece for scoring the equaliser and breaking his goal scoring duck.
I'm very happy tonight and hopefully it gives us more confidence in the games coming up.
We really want to avoid defeat in the next three at the least.
Come on you reds.22 -

Solidifies the idea to me that Campbell is better from the bench.
Tanto deserves a run in the side with +1 next to him for me.12 -
TC looks very low here, that combined with his lack of celebration suggests he’s seen some of the online comments. A shame for the travelling fans who could be heard singing his song when he came on

Its why I never understand the abuse, which was unsurprisingly strong, especially after Leaburn's mistakefenaddick said:TC looks very low here, that combined with his lack of celebration suggests he’s sign some of the online comments. Yes it maybe makes you feel better when its aired towards players, but other than that I don't see how productive it really is.
Then again I'm a confidence person as well, and being called out for making mistakes is very much the wrong approach from Managers (of late, and in the past), and never works for me... Certainly making me feel a bit useless etc. isn't going to be effective... So I can partly sense perhaps what they might be feeling.17 -

TC got heavily booed by the covered end at half time against Middlesbrough. That will have an impact.
Really happy to stop the losing run.

He’s just a shy kid and always has been. Will try not to read into him sinking into the background too much.fenaddick said:TC looks very low here, that combined with his lack of celebration suggests he’s sign some of the online comments. Can’t blame TC for not celebrating in the crowd to be honest. He works his arse off and yet he’s had so much grief recently that Jones had to defend his contributions just this week. Kind of like that McGrandles goal against Pompey, you can’t slag off a player for weeks online and then be surprised when he’s not looking to cuddle the people who have been calling him ‘total dogshit’ 4 days earlier. TC’s a quiet boy anyway, not one to make a big fuss of himself even at the best of times32

He must get whiplash from hearing all of that at half time on Tuesday to his song being sung by the away following four days later, before he’s even stepped on the field.mendonca said:TC got heavily booed by the covered end at half time against Middlesbrough. That will have an impact.

An excellent result to put a stop to what was starting to feel like an interminable losing run. Apart from another valuable point on the board, it is psychologically important for the team not to go into the next important batch of games on the back of yet another defeat.
Birmingham were very good and outplayed us in the first half, although it's hard to fathom how Miles - usually a decent finisher - somehow missed the chance to equalise from Tanto's cross. The second half was a different story and, despite Demarai Grey hitting the woodwork for a second time and Birmingham exerting some late pressure, we battled extremely well and deserved the point. Hopefully, Tyreece Campbell's first goal in 32 matches for club and country will inspire some much-needed confidence.
Birmingham are a talented side but I took grave exception to their goalie's attempt to get Tanto sent off, whilst Stansfield is also a serious irritant. Worst of all, though, are their hedge fund owners, led by Tom Wagner, who comes across as a complete arse - as well as opposing any significant redistribution of money from the Premier League to the EFL pyramid, he says he's open to discussing options to play games overseas because of the potential to what they can achieve internationally. Happily, they're currently stuck in mid-table, so long may that continue.
Next week's game at The Valley against Oxford is huge and a win would put us 8 points clear of them. I know it's the last Saturday before Christmas but, with the shops now open every day (and often quite late), it's not like the old days when clubs usually had their lowest gate of the season on the pre-Christmas Saturday. Hopefully we can have a decent turnout to help get the lads over the line and secure 3 points before tricky trips to Norwich and Portsmouth.21 -
Should have just given the 2 fingered salute ala Mark Aizlewood...😃Fortune 82nd Minute said:

A really good second half performance to earn that point. We're not the best quality "footballing" team, but after HT we worked so hard, whether blocking Birmingham's shots or pressing them to win the ball back.
Really pleased for TC. And for whoever it was in the away end who started the singing of the TC song BEFORE he scored.
Karoy was excellent, making you wonder why he's not had more minutes. Interesting too that JRC came on before Docherty.

Yeah, @gpf who started that thread has made that one contribution to this site since joining in 2022. Imagine seeing a thread like that when you're doing your job in front of thousands week in and week out and it's your first job in your working life, and you're being played out of position but giving your best each time and representing your country because you're bloody good at it. Wish no-one would comment there and it could be sank.Karim_myBagheri said:

Nathan Jones on Lloyd Jones staying on the pitch: “They wanted to bring him off because he was sick. No concussion - he was sick. If we had to tape his mouth shut, then we would have done.” #cafc21
