PWR.
Hail TC! Someone has to say it given the stick he gets on here12 -
Well pleased with that. Looking forward to Saturday now.3

Couldn't follow today but coming from behind to get a point away from home I'm happy with that. Stops the rot hopefully a big three points next week and we go into Xmas a little more relaxed0
-
Great to stop the rot. An away point is always good but especially in the present circumstances.4
-
I think we have to remember how young a lot of our squad are, added to the lack of Championship experience most of them have.
They battled well today for a deserved and confidence boosting point.
Bring on Oxford next week. 👏👏11 -
Lloyd and Karoy my pick of the bunch, with special mention to Tanto and Tyreece for the goal.4

So with the booooooing getting TC a goal I fully expect Leaburn to score in the next couple of games .
booooooing works
sitting there lamely clapping off defeat after defeat is no good
need to get on these pussios backs
well done the boooooo ers got a point for us today20 -
It's part of the game. I'm fed up with reading about well-paid players not able to take criticism. Today he scored, the other evening his bottle job cost us the second goal.Fortune 82nd Minute said:
Yes I saw that. He clearly wasn't happy even though he scored and certainly didn't want to celebrate with the fans.swords_alive said:TC reluctant to go to the traveling fans when he scored. Clearly visible from TV coverage, even when pushed that way by one of our players (not sure who). Understandable for the grief he has been getting from a significant number. Also shows what a sensitive soul he is, and possibly why that grief can be damaging. Hopefully he kicks on and can get back to a more natural forward, out-ball position with other players returning.11 -
I think if any of the players don't perform how we feel they should we start burning effigies of them the following game.oohaahmortimer said:So with the booooooing getting TC a goal I fully expect Leaburn to score in the next couple of games .

So proud of the way the team battled today. We didn't play that bad 1st half and it could have been all square had Leaburn not missed that sitter. We really stepped up in the second half and we're the better team until we equalised.
Everyone played their part but I was particularly impressed with Karoy. He made a big difference with his energy and pressing. Some wonderful skill from R-C also... Who would have thought!
The fans were awesome today and kept up the noise even when we were losing. I went today dreading the result but I ended up thoroughly enjoying the match. It certainly felt like a win after the run we have been on.12 -

Take that result today, stops the rot, all we want is that type of battling effort each game, well done TC, but don’t get the arse with the fans when you get plenty of plaudits when you do well, need to mention JRC as he looked like he can play football today and worked hard when he came on.karoy never stopped running and putting challenges also. As I said in the week I think we be ok, just need to do our part and push the team forward.2

Big point that
sets us up for the 3 that could make our season 7 points please wallop2 -
They hit the bar and post plus Kaminski made a couple of very good saves. Fortunately luck was on our side today.

Seriously though...that performance was absolutely outstanding when taken in context of the opposition, the venue and our last five matches.
Jones was a real rock at the back, literally laying his life on the line at times for the cause, Fullah was outstanding and beyond his years, Tanto ran himself into the ground along with Anderson, and that beautiful nutmeg from Tanto to lay on the goal for TC was a real gem to behold, and worth the admission fee in itself.
Kaminski was there when needed, and what about TC, within two minutes of coming on, getting that so important goal that will take that curse from his shoulder.
Yes, this was gutsy at times and a real overall team performance from back to front, supported by those great travelling Addicks, and a real stepping stone for the rest of the season, looking forward to Oxford next Saturday and next year with relish...

Great result. Don't care if we had to ride our luck - luck only kicks in if you play well enough to keep the game close.1
-
Great point against a decent team at home. Well done TC hope it leads him onwards and upwards. Anderson, Tanto and Fullah did well and the collussus who is Lloyd Jones. Got to keep up the energy next week. Three points is badly needed.5

Massive performance and point. Whilst not a turning point yet, it's just what the players needed before the next run of games2

Awful for the first 30 mins and it looked like it was going to be another limp defeat where we'd barely competed. We improved a fair bit, but there was a marked drop off from Birmingham. They became pretty complacent and despite hitting the bar and putting lots of pressure on never really looked like winning it.
Karoy gave us some legs and bite in midfield and I loved his rugby tackle on Rat Boy Stansfield.
As was alluded to on the commentary, we need to be pissing Tanto off every week. He properly went up a level after the incident with their keeper.
The miss from Leaburn was an absolute horror show and he is really struggling at the moment.
Respect to Lloyd Jones. Carried on after having his own Eddie Youds at Portsmouth moment. Although Youds went one step further and threw up on the pitch!
It wasn't pretty and there were periods where we looked absolutely awful. But its hopefully stopped the rot and reinstalled a bit of confidence ahead of an important run of fixtures. Typically Norwich are showing signs of picking up now that we are due to play them.4 -
It's only 'part of the game' as long as supposedly grown men keep shouting and typing abuse at players doing their best. Let's not act like supporters don't have any control over the situation. Complaining that players are upset by over the top criticism and then crying that they didn't want to celebrate their goal with you after is the most ridiculous double standard fans have.Charlton1905 said:

I've no problem with him or anyone else not wanting to celebrate their goal, and I never said such a thing. My comment was aimed at players, and in this case one of ours, who don't take criticism.Garrymanilow said:

The fact that it has, on occasion (and this one), manifested into abuse is unfortunate and unacceptable. However, I do stand by my original comment re: criticism.0
