    TNT Sports are still insisting on interviewing managers and/or players at half time. I don’t know why, but this makes my blood boil. The team and bench should be off limits until after the game imo.
    Apart from anything else, the interview was completely devoid of substance -  “You must be happy with that first half? “What do you have to be wary of second half? Understandably, these questions got the expected bland noncommittal responses. Then the reporter asked Eddie Howe what he said to his team at half time and he, quite rightly, said “I’d rather keep that to myself.” Fucking pointless exercise that I’m not sure anyone asked for.

    Obviously I have no sympathy, but Palace's fixture list is ludicrous at the moment.

    Europe on Thursday, where they had to rest players and thus missed out on the top 8 as they were playing in the Premier League on Saturday evening, presumably brought forward because they have an EFL Cup game on Tuesday!

    I didnt see the game live properly, had it on my phone in the background while I was getting drunk at a family pre-xmas piss up.

    Having watched the extended highlights this morning, Simons can have no complaints but I dont think there was any malice involved, he was just too keen and clumsy.  The thing that grates me, Van Dyke done exactly the same thing to Solanke last season and didnt even get a yellow.  Timber done the same thing in the NLD last season, not even a yellow.  There's zero consistency.

    As for Romero, he is a prized grade A numpty.  How many more times?  He has to know better than that.  Hard to believe he won a World Cup because he doesn't play for us like he plays for his national team.

    It felt like Spurs played better with 9 men which is bloody ridiculous.

    A lot of people have lost patience with Thomas Frank already.

    I (and i'm sure many others) always felt it was a ridiculous appointment.

    Wolves weren't in a terrible position because of the previous manager, it's because they have a terrible squad. In the summer they sold their two best players in Cunha and Ait-Nouri and replaced them with who?
