Hope it doesn't create a precedent. Unless i'm mistaken it wasn't anything too obscene unless you're a nigel who gets their knickers in a twist.

The old Chelsea r*ntb*y chant that’s been going around for years. 

Since January 2022, the Crown Prosecution Service has defined the "Chelsea rent boy" chant - aimed at the west London club's players and supporters - as a homophobic slur and says that anyone singing it is committing a hate crime and could face prosecution.

What is this ? Is it like a branding iron ?

Over on Hardwall Online there's been a flurry of more than 15 posts since the news on the sponsorship deal broke yesterday. 

Some suggestions they go back to LDDC (now defunct) or simply write 'Docklands' on the front of the shirt so they can be even more authentic, attract tourists and sell prawn sandwiches to city office types.

Well it was the quote from the Daily Mail that said it WAS true. So I’m not sure what your point is? Did you actually read the article or just scan over a few words? 

The myth has only been around 20 or so years and was probably stolen from the south coast derby. Portsmouth have a similar one going about Southampton. But that’s also a myth. 

If you can’t see anything in the article that debunks the myth then you must be even more simple than I thought. The author added his source. It’s all there mate.

I've re read it and if you think anything in that article debunks an apparent myth that has been in place for a century, then you are as deluded as your 'friends' moody 'and' woodwork - no surprise there. Anyway, not interested really, just been having a laugh at some of moody's history lessons - glad to see he's reappeared on your site to be honest - thought the men with the white coats might have turned up and his family don't deserve that just before Christmas. Your club descends from a rich history of unpacking boxes of bananas - i'm happy to concede that an congratulate you on it. Wishing you a merry christmas other than when watching your team.

Around for a century??? I first heard this myth about 20 years ago. 25 tops. You’ll be believing palace are the oldest club in the world next 🤣
