KAMINSKI: 8 - kept us in it
GOUGH: 6.5 - a very sound debut
JONES: 6 - up against a very tough opponent but did ok
GILLESPHEY: 6 - alright
BREE: 3 - his worst game for us. Is he carrying an injury or is it a catastrophic loss of form ?
CAREY: 5 - couldn't get in the game
COVENTRY: 6.5 - one of our few competent players
ANDERSON: 6 - gets across the ground well but poor in possession
BELL: 6 - a little rusty but was fine in his comeback. Good to get 60 minutes under his belt
LEABURN: 4.5 - couldn't get in the game
OLAOFE: 4.5 - a couple of good moments but is struggling at this level
Referee: 6 - ok
Subs: T.C.: 6 - put in one very good cross near the end (our only one of the entire game) and sprinted back over half the pitch to put their forward off when a second goal on the break looked certain towards the end. He has that rare ability - especially for this team - to beat players and take them out of the game
Docherty: 4 - no impact
Apter: - 4.5 - I was hoping he'd take a couple of corners but it was not to be
Kelman: 4 - no service and I don't recall him touching the ball

KAMINSKI 7.5 - He would be in the Prem if his distribution was better. Okay, maybe he'd be high end Championship, but still. Some great reflexes, some poor kicking.
GOUGH: 7 - Had some ropey moments but he gets an extra .5 for it being his league debut and only having played like 2 league minutes at all up to this point. There's more to come from him, I just hope it isn't until next season.
JONES: 7 - Solid if unspectacular
GILLESPHEY: 6.5 - Looked better with Bell next to him. He can actually pass to a teammate. But as the game opened up, so did he. I think the LWB dictates how he plays a lot, and understandably so. I think some are a little over the top with criticism of him. He wasn't great, but he wasn't our worst player, which brings us onto...
BREE: 3 - He won't be that bad again.
CAREY: 5 - Anonymous again. But I do feel for him feed on scraps and flick ons. We need more from our third midfielder. It may be time to give Knibbs a go and let Carey come on against a tiring side. It's not all on him, he struggles to get the ball at his feet but when he does he tries to do too much with it.
COVENTRY: 7.5 MOTM - Did everything he could.
ANDERSON: 7 - Good in the press, less good on the ball
BELL: 7 - Solid and for 60 minutes we looked like we could get a point without playing particularly well. Unfortunately, he's only 60 minutes fit right now. You can criticize NJ for all the subs bar having to take Bell off (yes he could have brought on Apter although I don't think anyone expected TC to be as poor as he was).
LEABURN: 5.5 - When he won headers there were three Norwich players up against Tants who just got the ball back. Kaminski's kicking, along with the distribution limitations of the backline and midfield make his job a lot harder.
OLAOFE: 5 - He is technically limited, and it shows when he starts. He also wants to pull out wide, which leaves Miles isolated. His touch is better suited out wide, as is his pace. We need Kelman 60 minutes fit ASAP.
Referee: 6 - fine
Subs: T.C.: 5 - Gets a bit of a let off for having to do a job at LWB, but he was poor. And to be fair, he nearly caused an own goal.
Docherty: 4.5 - I just don't think he's up to this level as an 8. Isn't quite good enough on the ball, isn't quite mobile enough, isn't quite positionally disciplined enough. He came on, we looked open.
