Headed up to Manchester ahead of tomorrow’s game. Going to Altrincham today and none other than Charlton legend Charlie Kirk starts
Annnnd game was postponed at 2:55 for a frozen pitch
How can they leave it that late?

That is criminal to call off at that late stage.
They must have known around 12 that the pitch was not playable.

Bbc report from yesterday updated today following that postponement at Altrincham
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cjrz39ny0w8o

Altrincham's game at home to Morecambe was called off six minutes before the 15:00 GMT kick-off, due to what the club said were "safety concerns during the warm-up".

I'm booked on the Valley Away coach tomorrow from Charlton & have not yet received the usual update/ confirmation which is normally emailed the day before travel [today].
Has anybody received the email & if so are the original pick up times unchanged.

    Edit

    Better late than never
I've just received the email from the club confirming unchanged pick up times.
  • Rang the Blackburn ticket office - they said no tickets on sale for away supporters today. Home only.

till haven’t received our chelsea tickets though
That's because they don't post home tickets out anymore, there's no option for it.
Funny because mine arrived by post yesterday. I think the option is if you don’t select another option the default option is for them to be posted.

Absolutely incredible if they go along with this.
This is a grade Z game with no reason for restricting sales of tickets.  It does not make sense to stop a handful of away fans buying tickets yet home supporters can still purchase.
Another case of an easy thing in this world being made difficult.

The away ticket office was very firmly shut.

Can only guess that it would have been deemed an unnecessary cost to open the office (mimimum or two people plus operational set up? ) for a Sunday game a couple of hundred miles from the away teams location where precedent suggests tickets sales would have been in the low singles.

The away ticket office was open when I walked by and saw on FB someone managed to buy on the day.

    Bizarrely handled by Blackburn

Smells a bit as 'treat all football fans as dumb thugs' and at all costs.

It was closed at 2.45. Hope those that wanted one got one.

Some grounds have sold tickets for away ends via their main ticket office in the past, without having to specifically open an ‘away’ ticket office.
