Announced they’ve bought the few houses that posed a problem…
‘ Crystal Palace's new Main Stand will provide "a stadium the whole of south London can be proud of," in Chairman Steve Parish's words.’ - what a load of tosh!2 -
The new stand they're proposing is like sticking a massive sparkler in the middle of a cake made out of dogshit.
End of the day you either have to sit in the shit stands still, or sit in the shiny new stand and look at the pillocks in the shit stands.
Lose lose situation, and to top it off you'll be a spotty virgin who supports the cringiest club in the UK, desperately kidding yourself that the wanky corner of Croydon you find yourself in is actually the heartland of South London17 -

What I can't get my head around is how Palace support is passed down a generation?
Surely they would need to persuade a female to breed with them first. 🤔4 -
Don't think much of the new stand - way too big for them.
Stripey Nigel Surrey c*nts18 -
Surprised their proposal of moving to the athletics stadium never went ahead, made complete sense - right where their namesake Crystal Palace was located and right next to a station with both overground and national rail services going to it. I wonder why?0

And it was a bit closer to actually being in "South London" .Diebythesword said:Surprised their proposal of moving to the athletics stadium never went ahead, made complete sense - right where their namesake Crystal Palace was located and right next to a station with both overground and national rail services going to it. Used to enjoy the Selhurst years, mostly.
Not the one time though i was ejected for starting the song "one man went to kill an eagle". I was marched from the Arthur Waite through the Holmesdale terrace and the copper said I'd been racist. He'd heard negro for eagle. I laughed a desperate and exasperated laugh, and told him to listen as it was still being sung in the near distance but he wasn't having it.0 -

Aah. The old box at the top of the holmesdale. With the stroopy copper taking the piss. Taking a Polaroid then throwing you into the street. I used to love that.swords_alive said:Used to enjoy the Selhurst years, mostly.
