Perhaps let’s judge players over the lifetime of their stay / duration of their contract and not after 20 games of the first season they are here?

JRC for instance may have appeared a dud until 2/3 weeks ago but could be a key part of our second half of the season.

Still plenty of time for Knibbs and Apter too.

Unless they're called Charlie Kelman though right?

Common sense! Breath of fresh air.

This window is shaping up exactly like the summer one, nobody has a bloody clue ! Nathan obviously gets his way when it comes to information being leaked out, but if this window is as good as the summer one eventually turned out to be then we could be well satisfied.
Are you for real  ?  You think the summer window was a successful one  ?

Apter   -  Great player but not right for this manager/ formation.

JRC   - hardly played (not fancied ?)

    Knibbs   - ditto

Tanto   -  a bit-part player who has scored once all season.

Burke  -  decent player but injury prone

Kaminski  - doesn't come for crosses & no better than we had already...and cost loads.

    Pluses are Carey, Bell and......????

Call me picky but I'd say a successful transfer window would be players who are selected regularly (mainstays even) and can score more than once or twice in 20 games.
If anyone would like to know what bait I used to draw Golfie in, I'm happy to let you know, only trouble is I will have to buy a bigger keep net as all the other guppies came pouring in as well 🤣🎣

It’s a little bit ironic that exactly the sort of player we could deal with now is one that we let go in the summer (Thierry Small).

Given our penchant for Jamaican players, would Bailey Cadamerteri be worth a risk?

Definitely worth a look. I’ve enjoyed watching him whenever I’ve had the chance. A big lad who is very quick as well and still only young.

Why would Ipswich want Dykes? If they get promoted back to the PL, which is very likely, he’d be surplus to requirements there.

Did not expect any movement until next week
at the earliest even if the loan player has passed his medical unlikely we would register him till this week .. look back in previous windows 99.9 per cent of moves are loans lot of these don’t happen till later in the window .. I Exocet two in this week once the cup match is out the way

Ruined my night, was expecting a Ronaldinho type unveiling tonight to the Covered End, where instead of doing some around the worlds he probably just headbutts the post.

Honestly that would suit me - he would probably be useful for what we need right now but not what I'd call a long-term solution, a d hopefully we could get a better prospect in the summer.

The journey is as important as the destination. Buy what gets you there
