I don't want us to sign Dykes, but cant put my finger on why.
    I got it  ;)
    I didn't :(

JRS from Palarse would be nice….he loves us
Don't think he would really fit our system. He'd either have to play up front as part of a front 2, which he did under Holden but didn't look quite as effective, or play RWB, which I don't think suits him.

Lovely player, but really thrives in a 4-3-3/3-4-3 where he can be a natural right winger.

rejected 6 figures according to other place.
Six figures does not mean much. 100,000 quid is six figures.

Scanlon, Dykes, Bree signed/extended and a LCB is my guess.

Scanlon and Dykes are almost certainly loans, Bree will be a nominal fee, so I'd like to see us spend money on a LCB if possible.

Of course i'd also want a central midfielder in to compete with Coventry and Docherty but that's too much to ask in Jan
LCB is usually a very difficult position to shop for, and quite pricey. I think it’s unlikely we’d be able to sign one permanently this month. It’s probably one for the summer, Bell and Gillesphey should be fine to see us till then
Not if Bell tore his hamstring, that's 3 months out minimum
Thinking the same unfortunately, and if it’s not as bad as that, how many more games will we get out of him anyway, it’s clear Macca is struggling at this level.
Is he .. funny when things not going right people go back to number one target … even through he not been responsible for any goal against us unlike Carey and Campbell for example ?
Is it any different to Campbell being your number one target?

Campbell is also much more likely to be playing Championship football in the next few seasons than Gillesphey.
The irony is that I like Macca, but we have to be honest and he’s struggled of late.
I think his contract is up in the summer.  IF we stay up, I imagine it won’t be extended

He extended it recently, believe it's up in 2027 with a club option of an extra year.

Rumours circulating that Bree on a permanent will be supplemented by Ramsay's departure, would make sense with Clark able to cover the position of right centre back. probably a better option there than Ramsay and Bree is a better right wing back than Ramsay, because of his delivery......sometimes !

I doubt that is true. Can’t see us selling Ramsay (or anyone we don’t want to lose) until the summer. Would be stupid to risk relegation

Clarke might be our replacement for Ramsay next season if the loan goes well

It was a substantial six figure sum according to the report which was on December 31st,they will hold out for more if there's alot of interest which it seems to be.
