Come on, someone had to moan about it.Athletico Charlton said:Has played for a while tonne of mediocre clubs, aged 27. Purple patch in the Conference, scoring 5 goals to go with his 4 from 14 in a naff standard of a league.
Screams over priced January panic signing for someone.0 -
Yes, I have . They play a 2-2-2-2-2 formation.RC_CAFC said:Anyone got an FC Noah mate?50 -
Right then, everyone’s favourite time of day. I’ve got a good feeling we are going to announce a signing today 😉7

He 100% gets sent off against Millwall. Hope we can get this one over the line0

FC Noah are the team that Chelsea beat 8-0 in the Conference League in November 2024, although this guy wasn’t playing that night. As they say, the goals went in 2 by 2 - rather like injury time on Saturday.0
-
Well that satisfies the wish for big names to join the club.20
-
Looking at his record he looks all at sea with FC Noah, probably be out of his depth here then...........I'll get me coat.0

Clearly Jones is feeding off scraps in the transfer market. I can’t believe we are heading towards two vital games where the opposition will be fancying their chances and we still don’t have a leftwing back. Nathan said we need orthodox signings. We’ve signed a righback on loan who hasn’t played competitive football all season who’s injury prone. This window will make or break our season.3

It’s better to get the right player in by the 31st than get the wrong player in by this weekend. Yes we might be weaker for a few games, but we will be better off for the other 18 gamesBerkshire1970 said:Clearly Jones is feeding off scraps in the transfer market. You are right this window is very important, but that’s why it’s vital we make sure we get the right players in rather than panic and sign whatever we can get in before Saturday6 -
Have you considered doing the pre match team talk on Saturday?Berkshire1970 said:Clearly Jones is feeding off scraps in the transfer market. Big foreign centre forward? I’m sold.
Get him in.1 -

Think it’s not waiting for the right player more we’re not able to attract the right player. Surely the owners know how crucial this window is for us.NabySarr said:

We can't wait till Easter, we need a Christmas European striker....or Lent perhaps?AberystwythAddick said:Millwall are proof of concept when it comes to Easter European strikers. If he is as successful as theirs we will be doing well for ourselves1 -
Sorry to be pedantic but he didn't say we need "orthodox signings" he said he wanted to make signings so players could play in orthodox positions. Clarke is a good example of that. I agree we need a LWB but it needs to be the right one otherwise it's pointless, just like the Roussillon signingBerkshire1970 said:Clearly Jones is feeding off scraps in the transfer market. There’s been barely any movement in the championship this window so far. So to me I think it definitely looks like we are waiting for the right player and that just isn’t available yetBerkshire1970 said:

The owners have backed Jones massively for the last 18 months. Not sure why so many are convinced this has changed now?7 -
Two legs and a head, put a red shirt on him and get him in!Beckboy said:Left back wonder if one those clubs is us .No idea what hes like but hes a left back https://x.com/i/status/2010670108759282131
(Competition from Blackpool, Port Vale, Bradford and Bolton if the comments are anything to go by. Surely the lights of London are enough to tempt him our way)1 -
The John Hewie post by the museum is interesting. They’re saying that ‘at the time of posting’ he’s the only Scotland international to be capped while playing for the club. I wonder if this is hinting at Dykes?1
