Sheffield United lost so I don't think we have a game on 14/2.

Portsmouth fans are complaining about injuries to their last 2 available wingers today. They sound as injury stricken as us.
And they'll probably want to bounce back against us next week. Arse.

what about us bouncing back against them?  ;)

what are the chances of wrexham (jammy) getting a bizarrely weakened Chelsea side in the next round?

Are we watching tonight to see who we would've got? Bit like Bullseye when the players miss out on the star prize.

We’ll need Leeds to win at St Andrews to avoid having Birmingham (H) on 7th March postponed.

Also eyes on Bristol City who have pulled a favourable 4th round tie and are scheduled to come to the Valley on the weekend of the 6th round.

What an insipid draw. Only real "highlight" is if Salford get through and play Man City, given the fact they've been owned by a bunch of Man United players, and Birmingham Vs Leeds for a scum derby

Even the draw has gone from terrestrial tv, such a shame that money is more important than allowing all fans to watch it.

They can make a storyline out of Rosenior going back to Hull. And Macclesfield will be back on the TV as this year’s big story.

Though it was really poor that the BBC only had 2 games for the 3rd round. Both on Saturday afternoon. One between 2 boring premier league sides.

Those two games above should be on TV.
  • That draw looks about as uninspiring as you could get.

Back in the day it was only on the radio.
  • Man Utd beaten at home which means they've gone out of both cups at the first hurdle.

Last season they played 22 cup games, this season 2.
    From the BBC:

United have fallen at the first hurdle in both domestic cup competitions for the first time since 1981-82. They are condemned to a 40-game season, the fewest they have played since 1914-15.

The world's oldest person, 116-year-old Ethel Caterham, was five at the time, so even she probably doesn't remember it.
    Accidental partridge

The only thing that could have made that set of fixtures duller would be a Huddersfield v Charlton tie in it

TV companies must be finding it hard to choose the televised games with Man Utd not in draw.

With Fluff Freeman not arf. Oops showing my age now.
  • If they show a live game on Friday, 3 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday then my predictions for the live games would be:

    Liverpool v Brighton
    Hull v Chelsea
    Burton v West Ham
    Grimsby v Wolves
    Aston Villa v Newcastle
    Macclesfield v Brentford
    Birmingham v Leeds

If they show any more live games (Thursday for example) then i'm struggling for another game. Maybe Oxford v Sunderland?

We had this said for the 3rd Round draw

It's live on YouTube so everyone can watch it, unless you still don't have internet access.

    Grimsby v Wolves
    Oxford v Sunderland
    Birmingham v Leeds

I see the Leicester v Southampton League game has had to be postponed and replaced by Southampton v Leicester cup game
