Hope to start doing it as a weekly thing. Have a go at the ten questions below. All of them can be looked up or googled, so see how you go without doing so. I'll keep it closed for now to give people a chance to think without others sticking the answers up. Answers will be put up after midday. Good luck !

1. What was the name of the referee for the play-off final v Sunderland ?

2. What is Alex Stavrinou's squad number ?

3. What was the year of the infamous punch up between Derek Hales and Mike Flanagan ?

4. Six different players appeared in goal during the 1984/85 season. Can you name them ?

5. Who was signed for a then Football League record in July 1955 ?

6. What player left Charlton in the late 80s for Plymouth in a £125k move ?

7 What club did Izale McLeod start his career ?

8 Phil Parkinson made his Football League debut for which club ?

9 Omar Pouso was signed on loan from which club ?

10 Paul Mortimer's career ended in 2001 at which club ?

Keep it going. Some tough ones there, but good for the old grey matter.

It's like any quiz. Easy if you know the answer hard if you don't.

    Definitely worth doing.

I only got 5 and 3/4 of the goalkeepers off the top of my head.

10 questions a week? Pehaps you could have a guest quiz setter once in a while ;-)

I should of known the answer to at least half of the questions, the fact that i got none is embarrassing. Nothing wrong with the quiz level mind, just me being a bit dense.
