quite suprised that all the london bridge pubs open at 10am
    thameside inn
    redwood
    the anchor
    barrowboy and banker
    Spoons in London Bridge station.
Isn’t that the old London dungeons? If they’re are any spanners in there how will we know, they could be leftover exhibits.
All joking aside there will be Millwall in there.
It's one of their pubs they use pre game
    'Ave it!

I believe The Kings Head and The George are away pubs, both off Borough High Street.
  • Any spares from anyone I’d be very grateful for a dm - happy to pay over the odds as well

Mine are yet to arrive, Leicester tickets made it here yesterday eek.
I haven't got my Leicester or Millwall tickets yet and ordered before xmas. My son, who lives with us and ordered at the same time got his a couple of weeks ago. Just call the club Monday and ask them to arrange for duplicates. You'll have to collect them from the box office at the Den on the day.
I still haven't got my Pompey ticket (duplicate picket up from Fratton).  Post is shocking at times.  Mind you received something yesterday that was dated 21st Dec so hope yet...
Didn’t receive Pompey tickets either, I’m not confident in the ticket offices ability in sending them out .
This last month has been guff .
yes it is Christmas but ordering tickets and them taking so long to arrive or not arrive is either a pure coincidence with the Christmas post carnage or poor work , especially with so many not making it to fans for Pompey .
my Leicester tickets took 10+ days to arrive previous to the last month or so they would arrive next day from being ordered generally
Yup, in the past I’d occasionally get tickets delivered the day after ordering, which was great service.
More recently I’ve been going in with a group where one person buys all tix with our con numbers and hands out on the train (with a big group it maximises the number of people we can pi$$ off by standing in the wrong seats… ;-).  Must check tomorrow if he’s picked up the tickets for Millwall

Right - so what are the recommended pubs for Saturday ? Was in the bunch of grapes last time which was good although a different story after the game - new weatherspoons a good shout - is Blackpool right ? Is it a Millwall pub ? Millwall fan has disappeared again but remember him saying none of their ‘boys’ go near London Bridge - don’t mind if it’s a mixed bag but could do without a stoneislandathon over breakfast - any tips ?

One of the best things about this site is you popping up weekly with a bit of information regarding an away day, which is almost always incorrect. It's good fun.

For those with a far better knowledge of the trains. Best way to South Bermondsey from Strood?

Drive to Dartford then change at Peckha Rye?

  • Had a bit of a logistical mess up, any spares going please? Ideally near block 50, just need a single ticket. Thanks!

The George is probably OK,  but the Old King's Head is Millwall even if the owner not totally happy about that.
  • I have a spare ticket upper deck. DM me & can meet before at South Bermondsey

Looking on here and social media over the last week. I genuinely think I’m one of the few Charlton fans that bought a ticket and still in possession of it!

Never seen so many Charlton tickets change hands

I doubt we’ve seen more than we have for other away games this season. I suspect we’ve seen what we think is a lot changing hands is because the game sold out so long ago and it’s a game with more than it’s fair share of interest so it gets noticed more. Those tickets that do come up don’t seem to be available for long. It’s also testimony to the efficiency of sites like this in providing what is seen as a safe and convenient market place and tickets are put up for others to take instead of sending them back to the club.

I’m keeping mine but the thought of travelling a couple of hours to watch a toothless display where we get comfortably beaten before getting kept in the stadium for an hour to mull over it is sounding less appealing by the hour
