Not literally, it’s called hyperbole/paraphrasing. Obviously people weren’t calling him that.Croydon said:
Find me one post calling him the worst right back in the league and I'll donate £50 to the upbeatsTheHerminator said:3 weeks ago some on here were calling Bree the worst right wing back in the league. Now he might be leaving people are getting their panties in a twist and saying he’s irreplaceable
I hate this site sometimesIt’s called exaggeration for effect.I’m sad that I’ve had to explain that to you2 -
I think we can all be a bit guilty of thinking of other options being better, the amount of times we see another player go to other clubs and suggest we should be in for them they are better, or bring back the loan when in fact they are on loan for a reason and rarely playing at a good enough level. We need to accept what we have and the new players that are brought in are what we can get, not easy but that’s the way it is.fenaddick said:
This is where I’m at too. We haven’t really seen Mitchell play in a side as strong as Gough has so it’s hard to judgeSword65pf said:
Thought Gough has done ok to be fair, couldn’t honestly say if one is better than the other.Todds_right_hook said:
I don’t disagree with what you are saying but surely Mitchell is better than gough? I know the solution is to sign experienced and match ready championship quality but if we need a youngster to sit on the bench, surely it’s Mitchell?Sword65pf said:
Mate I know needs must and all that, but there was a reason Zach went on loan. The way things are going with injuries he won’t be cover for long and with respect he’s not up to starting in the championship yet.fenaddick said:With Bree going back and Z Mitchell not playing for Hibs maybe Clarke will actually be out RWB and Z Mitchell is used as the RCB cover2 -
Absolutely nobody is turning down Charlton to stay at Lincoln ruddy CityRichard J said:A couple of names mentioned on ITTV. as possible left backs
Apparently Jack Bidwell might be available for a loan from Coventry.
Adam Reach is also listed although personally I am not sure we could attract him from Lincoln as they are second in L1.6 -

Leaving a promotion chasing side to fight a relegation battle isn’t actually that attractivearny23394 said:

No but the increase in wages will be.AberystwythAddick said:

If he would rather stay in League One, then let him stay, clearly would have no ambition or fight in him...AberystwythAddick said:

I think he’s been ok, went off the boil, had one particularly shocking game.TheHerminator said:3 weeks ago some on here were calling Bree the worst right wing back in the league. Now he might be leaving people are getting their panties in a twist and saying he’s irreplaceable

Where would one get a high visibility thong these days? You know, if one wanted to increase one’s health and safety.Sword65pf said:

Olafe and Doc not in the squad. Could either of them be going out?0
-
Not without signing a replacement I would guess. We need a bigger squad than 20 players, so unless we have a lot of injuries some will always miss out.AberystwythAddick said:Olafe and Doc not in the squad. Could either of them be going out?3 -
If Coventry is not playing I think Doc should be, he is better at times than he looks and we could do with his oomph at times like this.Scoham said:

Need 4 more now in two weeks. Three defenders and a creative midfielder, let’s hope it’s not a last minute dash2
-
A midfielder would almost certainly be a panic buy. With Carey Berry and JRC I don’t think we will be looking at a midfielder2
-
Not sure we get 3 more defenders in 2 wingbacks definitely, but you already have 6 players for 3 CB positions. Jones doesn’t use creative mids and we have 8 already in that area can’t see us bringing in any more thereCarl_bratton said:Need 4 more now in two weeks. I'd advise you to be disappointed then, as cant see that happeningCarl_bratton said:Need 4 more now in two weeks. Three defenders and a creative midfielder, let’s hope it’s not a last minute dash1 -
Think 2 wingbacks and maaaybe a CM is the most we can expect. Sounds like Karoy could really do with that loan to L1 so maybe we do get another CM.1

The thing is, we don’t yet know the seriousness of Harvey Knibbs injury, I personally wouldn’t loan Karoy out, unless we’ve got better coming through the door in midfield.0
-
If Knibbs is out long term I'd be in the market for an attacking midfielder. I know NJ loves Berry but I'd be straight in the market for another option.
Karoy going to Wycombe I think might be one that goes to deadline day and needs us to sort out our options first0 -
Can try apter in the 101
-
Maybe in a traditional 4231 possession based footballing side in a 352 long ball direct battling box crashing CAM just completely not his gameCafcSCP said:Can try apter in the 101 -
I don't want any injuries obviously, but we were overstocked in the 10 position anyway, so it's no major issue. Carey, Berry, Fullah is plenty of cover, and Apter is an option as well.
What today DID show, is that Anderson can't play the Coventry sitting midfielder position.1 -
Forgive me if it's been mentioned but Zach Mitchell wasn't in the Hibs squad today.0
