How can that not be a red? Without the defender he’s through.
    You've answered your own question
    What?
It's not a red card, because the covering defender prevented him being "through"
  • Open game. With a bit of quality (crossing & finishing) we could get back into this.
Bit like the game against Coventry, a frustrating moment has resulting in us chasing what is a tight game

Counter-attacking is not our strong suit.

The only thing we can do at pace is give the ball back to the oppo.

Reality biting hard on us currently. Plenty of effort and running but Carey the only one showing a bit of spark and invention but he’s hardly Roman Riquelme when it comes to creative passing.

The move that opened us up for their goal is the kind of thing we just don’t have in our locker at the moment.

The balls from wide are largely coming in from too deep because Ramsay gets a nose bleed 40 yards from goal and Campbell too often cuts back and lays it off rather the gets to the byline.

We just don’t look like scoring and haven’t really for a good number of games now.

Head tennis at the mo, good flexibility from Anderson to get a foot in to try to regain possession.
  • We’ve got to big honey monsters up top yet we can’t seem to get the ball into them.

We have some possession without giving the ball away but the crowd are rightly frustrated at the lack of movement in front

I'm sure Luke Berry will be on in the second half to provide absolutely F all while Fullah continues to freeze his arse off with Rousillon banging on about the latest episode of EastEnders in french next to him.

All that possession led to a long ball onto a Derby head

After pissing about at the back for a bit, we launch it forward but it comes straight back.

Front 2 should have been Leaburn & Kelman

And 2nd half switch to Dykes & Godden.

A couple of minutes of the ball going side to side among our defenders with the occasional touch from Coventry ends with the ball at Burke's feet and then an aimless hoof out of play.

Very little movement from the midfield, forwards are isolated ... awful.

I like Gillesphey but a good defender would of easily put it out for a corner.
Lets not blame Gillesphey (& you're not) if Jones etc thought Macca was good enough for the championship why were Plymouth so happy to let him go ? We should have brought in more than an injury prone replacement & then act surprised that the Luton connection was lying in the treatment room

Several flick ons in their box but we can't get a decent touch and eventually Derby half cleared, but Anderson is fould and we have a free kick.

Derby defender with no intention of playing that long ball into box, just kept pushing Dykes further away from the drop zone.

Crying out for Kelman with Dykes who’s played well. Also allows Carey more space. Leaburn redundant in this set up
