    Watching this now!
Always thought the Aussies weren’t taken too seriously in their takeover - but Bowyer makes it clear that the club had put a lot of dependency on them…

He speaks about them ‘bringing in their own manager’ - who at the time was rumoured to be Ange Postecoglou!

Love bowyer saying about under 21 players should be ready not late developers etc, if he said that on here he would get lynched!

For me we must have a left back in the 21s we can risk. Worlds gone.

Haven’t watched it yet, but we also have to be realistic - we won’t have an u21 who’s ready for the first team in every position on the pitch.

Every player is different, there are late developers, but they’re probably the ones we release who then work their way back up the leagues.

If you mean players like TC and Leaburn, then they could still developing at 22 and getting used to the Championship. Most of our older players are likely better than they were at that age.

I've not seen this relaxed and humorous version of Bowyer before. Really enjoyed the pod.

Bang on about the Football Combination and him as a 17 year old learning much quicker playing against men and playing at that level with the likes of Colin Walsh.

Very good that. Wants back in to a club by the sound of it as well. Good luck to him
