    Pep out-coached by Carrick.

United looked excellent on the counter. Man City kept trying to walk it in.

That's what Solskjaer did well when he was interim too - break quickly with Rashford, Martial etc, it was when they had to play the sides who stuck men behind the ball they struggled.

Oh my god. Spurs don't just need a new manager, they need a shrink

@JohnBoyUK will you please sort your team out? 🙄
Doctor Tottenham helping those West Ham mugs out once again.

At least the Mackems did the job against the stripeys. 😎

Deary me.  He wont survive the next 24hrs surely?

We made West Ham look like 1970s Brazil first half.  Plenty of effort second half but no cutting edge at all.

But, lets be honest, the quality just isn't there.

Whoever comes in next, you wonder if it really matters because you can't polish a turd!

I don't think I've ever disliked a Spurs player more than Vicario and Porro.

Got to feel sorry for the people that backed Spurs in the last man standing thing.

They had £50k resting on that result.  Ouch!
  • Doing the washing up listening to the phone in on Radio 5. You've got to laugh.

Arsenal fans phoning in moaning about Arteta and his negative football (only 7 points in front tonight); Liverpool fans calling for Slot to be sacked (not having the greatest of seasons but its hardly a disaster); and, of course, Tottenham fans calling for Frank's head (well maybe ok on that one!)

They should thank the Lord they didn't have to sit through our game today!

All a bunch of entitled pricks. Do them all good to get relegated, especially Arsenal who shouldn’t even be in the top flight.

A very strange post-match interview from Unai Emery. He said that Villa are not a contender to be in the top five and when asked why he thought that, he replied with silence. Is this a dig at the Villa board?

For example, they sold Duran last January for £65m and this week sent Malen on loan to Roma (scored on his debut). I'm not sure who Watkins replacement in a game is meant to be?

They've been linked with signing Tammy Abraham.

Perhaps his frustration is that he hasn't been signed already. They have a couple of big games coming up away to Fenebarhce and Newcastle and he wants him on someone else over the line.

Came here to say the same thing. Sounds like an almost empty stadium with about 10 people making noise.

Incredibly soft penalty. Part of me thinks if he hadn't booked the player for diving it wouldn't have been given
  • Feels to me like Spurs are wheeling Frank out for the Dortmund game knowing full well they'll likely get battered, rather than appoint John Heitinga & having the embarrassment of him getting battered in his opening game.

    Fully expect
Heitinga to be in charge at the weekend..

Feel really sorry for Thomas Frank at this point

Why? He is reportedly the joint 3rd highest paid PL manager and he's been absolutely awful since going there.

Yes it hasn't helped they lost 2 of their main creative players in Kulusevski and Maddison but from what i've seen of their games and read online, the football they've been playing has been dire.
