Concerned that Jones and the recruitment team haven’t learned their lessons ….

Promising. You’d think he’s going to play on the left as plan A. Hopefully there’s a plan to sign him permanently in the summer all going well.

Not impressed with the Apter loan at all. I hope we bring in some serious attacking quality and I hope it's not James Bree.
Rak saki - break the bank and pay the signing on fee if we stay up - we have to make the leap into the big wages / fees at some point or accept we’re going down
That's the level of quality that I would be after yes.
That didn't happen in the summer, it's not going to happen now.

Yeah happy with that as a replacement down the right and can actually play the position as opposed to being shoehorned like Apter

Think that's it for this evening in terms of transfers at #cafc.

It's like a transfer deadline day practise before the ACTUAL transfer deadline day.

Meanwhile Connor Coady rocks up to Sparrows Lane, wondering why the lights have been turned off:

As far as I’m concerned Jones can do one . What does he have against players who have quality and skill . I look forward to a couple of overweight , crocked defenders from Luton coming in .

This is one of those posts to put a pin in to come back to when we sneak into the playoffs in May with a new look side.
If that happens Forever Addicted needs to have NJ tattooed on his wotsit (Don't worry FA it ain't happening, much like your last tattoo :D

Has he been any good this season? Stats aren't everything, but they don't look great.

Crazy out goings, needs some proper quality coming back in and not long left to do it.

He doesn’t like their defensive weaknesses.

The issue is he probably takes that too far. Still tries going with two defensive wing backs, but they just puts even more pressure on us when we have a team who treat the ball like a hot potato.
I really can’t think of a manager we’ve had in the last 40 years who’s been so afraid of playing positive attacking football.
    Get rid now
Who you bringing in to replace him?
The problem is, it's not us choosing who we would bring in to replace Jones, I assume it's bullshitter Rodwell who would be "advising" the owners.

We appear to be making ourselves worse. Quite remarkable really.

    Loan from League One…

    Firmly in the WTF camp.

    Some baffling signings there!

Apter and Tanto out temporarily, whilst bringing in a 23yo GK in Brooks, and a 22yo winger Jayden Fevrier - joins on loan WITHOUT an option to buy

Fevrier is very strange, not playing a lot for Stockport, not going to play as a winger because if that's the plan you'd keep Apter, basically a 6 month (wife)swap deal with Tanto going the other way

Won’t be seeing Apter again, Bolton will be promoted and they’ll sign him on a permanent, they won’t cock it up like us, good luck Rob, sorry we put you through this…🤦
The club said when we brought him he was for the future not just this season and tonight they said again that Apter has a big future at the club and looking forward to seeing him back in the summer ..

How can anyone be happy with this, the fella has played 2 games in league 1 and now your all expecting him to be the bollocks in the championship, some people are so easily pleased

He's played 21 games this season, also he's predominantly a RWB. But by all means get irrationally pissed off about a player you don't know
