Any clue how much the fee is?
will we bring in another third choice?

I would suspect another free agent like we did last season with Bouzanis and the year before with Lewis Ward.
  • I genuinely wish him every success at his new club.

Must admit when he broke through I thought he was going to be a top class keeper. Sadly he never quite managed that but I think he was a much better keeper than many gave him credit for. Hopefully he can nail down the number 1 position at his new club and go on and have a really good career.

Good luck to him. Hopefully he goes there and plays regularly. Will always have the shootout win against Brighton to remember.

Does this free up a squad space or not because he’s a GK? If it does maybe we won’t replace him?

Yeah it does free up a slot from the list someone posted on the rumours thread earlier. Was purely thinking because NJ likes to have 3 senior keepers.
  • Does this mean TC is now the longest serving first team player?

Best shot stopper at the club, shame they couldn’t teach him the other aspects of being a goalkeeper.

15 quid which goes up to £48m if he represents Aussies

Always liked him, and shame he didnt make it here, never really stood a chance with what was in front of him. Wish him all the best.

Good luck pal. You played for Charlton in front of 75k at Old Trafford. Not many have done that. Decent keeper.
  • Good luck thanks for your service and the game at old trafford you were superb.

I always hoped he'd be our number one after Rob Elliot talked him up so much years ago but after his breakthrough he dipped quite a lot. Wasn't good enough to be the keeper for a L1 side looking to go up so the writing was on the wall at this point. He seems like a good person though and did a lot for the community side of Charlton and that's always great to see and sad to lose. Best of luck to him

Believe so yes. He’s definitely top for appearances.
  • Longest serving player.
Moved the other side of the world to us when still a very young man.
Brave as can be and put his health and head on the line for us.

Good luck to him, hope he established himself as a number one and really pushes on in his career.  Some players really deserve to be a success and he is in that category imo.

What is NJ thinking of? He is a unit and left footed. A shoe in for LWB or LCB.

Real shame for him that he got injured last season when he had the spot and had a run of games. Still played a part in our promotion playing nearly half the league games and being in goal for the run when it started to turn in our favour last December

If you can't say anything nice don't say nothing at all. Unbelievable low life.

All the best AMB. A great shot stopper, who was never helped by some of the worst Charlton defences of all time. He genuinely cared about the club and the amount of concussions suffered trying to stop goals is testament to that. Sad to see him go but nice to see him go get some first team football.
  • Good luck Ash, hope everything works out well for you in Scotland.
