    Such a lame post.

    Of course people can be disappointed when players leave to be replaced by ones from a lower league. I think people were expecting improvements to come in that might re-energize not just the team but the fans as well. 

    FWIW I think Clarke looks a good signing and I will be interested to see just what NJ expects of Fevrier (is he a winger or a wing back ?) For me Dykes is not an upgrade on any of the strikers we currently have and Coady could be a slow cart horse.

    I’m not sure it’s a case of praising Jones for some and more a case that some see the current squad as one that doesn’t look capable of keeping us up (whomever you’d like to blame for that). I think some think our best chance of staying up was either sacking Jones or keeping him and giving the squad a fresher look/shake up. 

    I really don’t know what’s the right thing to do at the moment but I’m glad we look like we’re trying to do something rather than nothing. I still think we could see 3/4 new faces on top of Coady by this time next week. Whether this will be good enough to keep us up gawd only knows.
    I just think that the way to go, is to add to it, not try and do a total rebuild to fit this system that he is so stubborn with and will continously persist with even when its been completely found out! do something thats out of the box, that will catch opposing managers off guard, BE CREATIVE! keep what youve got try wingers, thats a real roll of the dice not shifting out your big money signings after six months and apparently freezing your captain out of the squad, i think if we dont start picking up in febuary then the crowd will have completly turned on Jones, we as a fanbase can't go through anymore league one it will break us.

    I get there’s a disparity to clubs with parachute payments, though in many cases they’ll be at full quota budget and aiming to budget reduce not increase. Those are Sheff U, Southampton, Ipswich, Leicester. 

    But I don’t get what was the purpose of billionaires buying a high loss making L1 club if the goal wasn’t to at base be established at mid-Champ level.

    Upgrading a no thrills L1 squad to be that was always going to need decent budget, not be bottom of the rung. 

    With projected income in the same district as your Millwall, Pompey, Stoke, Oxford, Hull, Watford, Swansea, Norwich, Blackburn, Sheff W, we should have been competitive in that market. 

    Easy to say when it’s not my money. But I’m not one of the billionaires who bought it. At least with Birmingham’s billionaires and Wrexham’s millionaires I can understand their strategy.

    Coady might not be the last CB to join this window. Hearing a bit more noise this evening about the Kenyan lad. And no that does not mean Lloyd is leaving, he is going no where this window

    No idea how reliable this bloke is but got a bit of a following and clearly a Millwall fan going by his profile. Gone a step further and claimed the medical has been passed so hopefully more to it than jumping on the existing rumour.
