Hernandez apparently out would give us another slot , Edwards and Knibbs to give another 2 I could see happening.ForeverAddickted said:
Unless we de-register Edwards and KnibbsBolderhumphreyreid said:I'm sure Collins can only happen if we let someone else go, Macca?1 -
I think it could be more for his development tbh. I only say that after NJ mentioned wanting younger players to get a chance to play more regularly.Scoham said:
u21 so doesn't take up a squad place.mart77 said:
Fullah maybe too as a possible exit.CharltontillidieCOYR said:realistically only really Doc and Anderson to possibly leave now
Gillesphey if a better replacement is available maybe4 -
The reality is that it doesn't matter too much even if he is back because it probably means it's about 6 games until he breaks down again.NabySarr said:
Hopefully that’s us trying to play down how much we want another player thereCallumcafc said:Terry asked NJ specifically about the left side of the defence and the first words out of NJ’s mouth were “we have good strength there now” but “never say never because there’s a few days left and if opportunities come” to improve the team they would explore it.
Doesn’t appear to me like they are actively seeking another left sided defender.
Really think it would be crazy if we go into the second half of the season with just our current options. One positive is this must mean Bell is either fit now or very nearly back3 -
But that’s a forum for you, people say shit because they are never seen, we all have our moments being brave on the keyboard. I’ve come to the conclusion that taking things too seriously on here will do you no good. There will always be someone pipe up and tell you black is white with certainty, along with the I’m cleverer than you, spelling and punctuation police, I now just laugh at most of that shit!!.YannTheMann said:
No you don't have to be a manager to have an OPINION this much is true, and that's what a forum is for right, the sharing and debating of opinions but fuck me the volume of people, particularly those on the glass half empty approach to life, who speak in 'facts' and absolutes is astoundingSword65pf said:
You also don’t have to be a manager to know about footballBigDiddy said:

Just been told (ex local news reporter level of info) that we'll be signing a midfielder and a striker before window closes. Taking that at face value that likely rules out 1) another LWB and 2) Rak Saki. I can't see how we need another striker so its probably bollox but if true, these 2 players need to be prime, ready to go, quality.11

Just as I said earlier.Emason32 said:Jones has said Fevrier will provide cover at LWB so sounds like Chambers is going to be our man in that position for the rest of the season
Don't expect to see Fevrier tearing down the right wing & bamboozling their defenders as per his youtube reel. It might happen later on in the season once Chambers can play a full 90 mins, but for the next few weeks I expect to see Fevrier & Chambers covering each other at LWB.0 -
Too many strikers to keep Tanto.......but we brought in Dykes last week. If NJ REALLY wanted to keep Tanto then we wouldn't have signed Dykes.Italian_Addick said:
I can believe what he’s saying about Tanto, as there are too many strikers to satisfy everyone’s needs, but I cannot believe for one second that applies to Apter too. So far this season we’ve only really had Bree that contesting his position, and with the Oxford game we saw he could play in the LWB position, a position which had and has 0 competition essentially.fenaddick said:5 -
Won't believe that till Ronnie has confirmed it...CB1 said:We have apparently put in a bid for Charlie Savage according to ITTV. Proper signing that would be.7 -

Tanto wasn't even in the squad, so too far down the pecking order - and he knew it2 -
I'd rather Lewis Wing than Charlie Savage, but saying that I think Savage is more of an NJ player. Could be a good deal0

As much as I’d like Savage I assumed it was a wind up due to him being spotted in a New Eltham cafe?5

Relying on Godden to be a realistic option isn't a great idea, at 34 hes spent half the season injured and played the other half of last season carrying the same injury, expecting gim to be the same player and in the division above isn't great squad planning imo.Oggy Red said:

I always find it funny when people say they've seen so and so player in a random location.
I reckon most of us could be in a room full of championship footballers and recognise maximum 10% of them5 -

What was that website from years ago where anyone could post up a transfer rumour and they would publish it, no matter how ridiculous?5
-
The fact that anyone is giving any credence to a rumour of a player being spotted in a cafe is quite sad. This is how desperate we’ve become3

I remember someone posting a rumour on there to show it's all BS.Callumcafc said:What was that website from years ago where anyone could post up a transfer rumour and they would publish it, no matter how ridiculous?
Another person saw it, and came on CL saying: 'Oh we've been linked with X player.'
And the person who posted the rumour on there said: 'No, that was just me on a wind-up.'
And the person replied: 'Ok. But I really think there might be something in it.'15 -

I honestly don’t think I have ever felt this pissed off in all my years of supporting us. I really feel like I’m being taken for a mug when NJ spouts off in his presser about the virtue of this weeks signings ! Ffs we have signed 2 players that can’t get into their own team’s lineup 1 of which is from the division below ! You can’t put a positive spin on that you muppet.7

A right footed League one player not playing regularly & a less than fit left wing back as cover - looks great 🫣4 -
Don’t panic!! The exciting signings are coming………………🫣AndyG said:I honestly don’t think I have ever felt this pissed off in all my years of supporting us.
