It wouldn't surprise me if Lloyd Jones is injured or needs a rest. He had been carrying a knock for weeks & like last season is probably taking injections to get through games.Scoham said:
Being a right footed CB and with Coady also joining I get the feeling this is only happening because someone in that position is either injured longer term or being sold.ken_shabby said:Just heard that the Kenyan has signed. 1.9m, pending a medical.
Exciting to be looking abroad though. Assuming it happens I look forward to NJ praising his “pace, power and athleticism”.6 -
CACT/Charlton Ability Counts train at Sparrows Lane on Thursday evenings albeit on the CACT pitches…RonnieMoore said:My brother in law just told he that NJ is at the training ground now cause an opportunity as arisen for us to sign a certain player .. he did not know if the player could arrive tonight .. my brother in law had just finished training with the disabled boys
The Ability Counts programme is for those with SEND1 -
You know that was your comment?RonnieMoore said:Interesting comment “ opportunity has arisen “40 -

What is the Ramsay and Lloyd Jones rumour?Bailey said:
I still think that Nathan Jones was right royally pissed off certain performances at Millwall, Ramsay and Burke may have been part of that, but the Ramsay and Lloyd Jones rumour seemed to have a lot of credence from people on here. Has Nathan Jones decided that certain players will not improve and it may be a good idea to move them on, is that what is meant by a progressive window ?Scoham said:

Picking off players from the clubs in trouble, should be something we're trying to do tbhJustFloydRoad said:https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c8rm2y666g8o

We should not sign any players from Sparrows Land. They will be showcased in the World Cup Finals and poached by Premiership Clubs0

Would be good business, Cheap punts with Championship experience. Inglesson plays in a position we need and Cadamatri is one for the future.3 -

We're going to sign Strand Larson right under Palace's nose.

The championship we can’t compete. Especially with our owners! It’s going to be a tough watch getting relegated. We have a very poor squad & it’s no better now than before. I’ve forgotten what a quality, fit, championship Charlton player looks like. This window is boring to say the least unless of course we sell Mbick. League 1 is where we possibly should be.8

And Kelman as well.BigDiddy said:So we will have the following defenders in our squad: Ramsey, Clarke, Macca, Lloyd, Coady, Collins, Fevrier, Chambers, Gough, Burke, Bell, Lapa……I am sure we can get some clean sheets with that lot to pick from.
I am back on the midfield…..Conor, Docherty Carey, Fullah, Anderson, Berry, JRC
Up front - Dykes, Miles, Godden, TC
All looks a little out of balance…..0 -

If they are sold this window, will be taking a break until next season. Don’t want to watch a slow deathBailey said:

Edit: who am I kidding, I’m a Charlton fan I love the pain and agony. Bring it on 😂4 -
Why don't you give it a rest, you have been here since 2024 and every post you put on here is negative bollocks, you're like a vulture waiting to pick over a corpse. I told you, you are not Golfie, if you have issues, then I'm sorry but why don't you try constructive criticism, instead of the continuous rant about how shit it is.Berkshire1970 said:The championship we can’t compete. Whether the window is boring or interesting from our perspective I couldn’t care less, I’d prefer a boring window as it would likely mean that the team is in the right place. Having to have signed 5 (so far) players this window is worrying1

I was honestly expecting a boring window. Maybe 2 players in few youngsters out on loan, this feels like a massive 180 and I don't think we're near to done yet.AberystwythAddick said:Whether the window is boring or interesting from our perspective I couldn’t care less, I’d prefer a boring window as it would likely mean that the team is in the right place.
