How does “referee” Kitchen average over 5?
are you all so beaten down by the miserable standards of the officials as to be deluded that his was almost an acceptable performance?
He had no decision to make with the Okoli sending off just the admin of raising the red card. Chalking off Charlton’s first goal was the snivelling act of a terrified moron
The speed with which he awarded the penalty when Bell touched the cheat Ayew’s hand was alarming when Ayew’s predeliction for juvenile theatrics blights his whole career
Kitchen could so easily have corrupted the outcome of this game had most of Leicester’s shirkers not phoned in their performances
Last week’s buffoon with the whistle gave ‘wall their massive leg up by penalising Dykes for simply being stronger than a defender. Were
that decision not crooked the outcome may have been quite different
Fellow spectators we can not sit idly by and meekly tolerate the cravenly casual corruption of our game by accepting officialdom of such pathetically low standard
When we see the Kitchens of this world dismally undermining the game we have to call it out- mark it 0 and write to EFL PGML FA et al until they take it seriously enough to employ and retain professionals and sack the hopeless and the weak minded
Thanks to LL for his diligence

Lloyd Jones has carried us this season but struggling to work out how he’s won MOTM. Had a very easy job against Ayew when you had Clarke and Chambers up against the best Right Winger and 3rd best Left Winger in the league and both grabbed an assist as well

It was Farawu who dived, not Ayew. If you can't get your facts right your opinion carries less weight.
You are right, both referees made errors but nobody is perfect.

Really enjoy reading these stats LL, however the Goals Table looks wrong to me.
JRC hasn't scored 3 (just one I believe) and I'm sure Knibbs has scored more than 2.
    Thank you though.

Flagged that multiple times - not been amended. LL may be too busy right now tbf.

JRC has one (Derby) and Knibbs has three (Watford, Coventry and Portsmouth).
  • JRC’s goal was against Coventry

Not wishing to find many mistakes LL, but you missed their red card in the top table.
Still would miss this thread if not there.

Agreed thanks to LL. The fact that there are so few mistakes is testament enough to LL thoroughness.

I thought that Doc has 2 assists... both of Bree's goals set up by him?

How could they have had a better Xg than us with one shot on target compared to our three?  Does the penalty being awarded boost their figure?  Or is Xg a load of 13ollox?
  • Thanks for this LL; if/when people suggest updates it shows the keen interest taken in your work and numbers.

Reckon a penalty would be about 0.8 xG?

Whether it's on target or not is not a factor in XG... it's whether it should've been!

In the GOALS table (3rd one down from the top) Knibbs should have 3 and Rankin-Costello 1. There's also 1 Own Goal. Then it adds up to 29.

CM - sorry I give up!
  • If it helps, official figure of 28730 has been given with a rough figure of 2600 Charlton from Foxes Talk.

I see absolutely no need to rank a referee .

Why not? It paints a picture over the course of the season.
