I didn't see anything to suggest that in either of our games
Last week if they had kept 11 men in the pitch I expect they would have beaten us. First 15 mins of the 2nd half they pinned us back even though we had an extra man. Their wide players will create chances & score goals for them. Their only downside is probably their actual strikers, but I think they have enough to stay up.
Absolute balls! We were more on top of them 11v11 than it was when they sat in a low block and countered! Second half was just a period of play when they were always going to go for it. The last 20 were very comfortable!!

    Pathetic".

Battered them at home and beat them away. Enjoy League One chaps.

Cheeky bastards, even without their points deduction we would be level with them on points this season given we are no doubt spanking Pompey in our game in hand this month.

    Only six!
    For knowingly cheating.
Should be automatic relegation. End of.
Stop the risk to our football Clubs going out of business.

Dont think it will impact it. They will likely still finish above us. Still see Oxford, Blackburn, Pompey as our mini league.

Yep, even though we beat them last weekend, would still back them to make up six points on us over the remaining 18 matches.

All ifs and buts, the facts are they deservedly had a player sent off, we scored 2 they scored 0, we won. We could list the ifs and buts that should have gone  in our favour. In every game we come under a certain amount of pressure, if we defend well enough we get something, the same as last season.

    We scored 3.
Only mention as it supports what you are saying.

They're on a torrid record, and have a horrible injury list at the moment - Whether they overtake us again, probably likely, hinges a lot on who they hire as their next Manager and whether he can get a tune out of them. West Brom look in a terrible state despite thinking the issue was as simple as Ryan Mason.
They were "only" six points above us for a reason.
Bit like Norwich, reputation alone, seems to be earning some points for clubs from a few on here... When reality it isn't necessarily the case.
Even Southampton havent really been able to pull away from us, despite assurances when we lost 1-5

God I hate those egotistical self opinionated pricks Leicester, hope they lose every game and eventually end up in league two, they certainly deserve to...

On paper they have enough to stay up. My concern if I were a Leicester fan would be that the atmosphere is very toxic. Fans seem to have turned on the players, players aren't playing for each other. I'm just not sure they have the fight for a relegation scrap. Could potentially go down with barely a wimper.
  • Will be interesting to see how we finish in the table ignoring the two sides with points deductions.  Should factor that in when planning for what's needed next season.

Unfair to paint a whole fanbase by one person's post. Imagine someone came on here and said 'oh those charlton fans they're all this or that', based on one person's post.

I thought this as well but any team that loses at home to us, Blackburn and Oxford clearly has problems. They also have a tough run of games coming up, 4 of their next 6 are away (Birmingham, Stoke, Middlesbrough and Ipswich). They are right in it.

Every London club's supporters were praying they won the title instead of totteringham.

Amazing how big for your boots you can get when someone pumps millions into your club and you get the delusion you are now massive and have a Greta Garbo sulk when "those pathetic clubs" whack your team.
Historically apart from the last 15 years there is little to choose between us and them.
  • Still looking for a manager?  I hear Mickey Apples has just become available.

    Their last 9 games

    W 1
    D 1
    L 7

I don't think you get a honeymoon period with that form.

The Premier League has the full reports (including the earlier adjudication when they couldn't decide whether Leicester were the Premier League or the EFL's problem): https://www.premierleague.com/en/news/4581043/premier-league-statement-leicester-city-05-february-2026

I see it this way too. Certain players now will already be talking with agents and asking which premier league, top championship, or European clubs are interested this summer. They then won't want to get injured and won't be putting in 100% for remaining games.

It helps but we have to just worry about ourselves. 10 of our last 17 games are at home. We must make the most of it.

Obviously any points deducted is good for us, but do feel they've got away with it. Does not seem harsh enough considering how much they overspent.

If they get relegated this season, that changes things, but still think other owners will look at 6 points deducted and think it's worth overspending. Gamble pays off and they get promoted to premier league, it doesn't work out and they only lose 6 points next season.

If we win all of our remaining games we will have 86 points.
Make of that what you will.
Was targeting 87 so that’s a big blow. Morale and results will now be in free fall

A week ago most of this forum was saying this about us. Get a win and everything changes.
