    Given both my parents are Hungarian born, I can't claim to be unbiased, but Szobo has been Liverpool's best player this season as much for his versatility as his strikes on goal and dead ball deliveries.

    Just two in the Wall and then Rhodi moved when he was just behind but that was a brilliant free kick from Szoboszlai.

    From ecstasy to being gutted as Dom Szob plays Silva onside and 1-1.

    To be honest there was an awful lot of really poor passing from both sides in the first half. Both of them giving it away so cheaply. Two classy goals though.

    Games gone is usually said as a laugh but it really has. Imagine if the score was 1-0 Liverpool or 1-1 and the ref does that.

    Even Gary Neville (who I’m certain is paid to put a positive spin on VAR) said VAR has killed the joy of the game there.

    Newsflash Gary: VAR kills the joy every time it’s used.

    In a way, it’s a shame that decision didn’t affect the result, because there’d be a lot more people saying it’s shit if it had.

    Maybe I’m an alien but that was the most obvious foul ever to stop Szobo from clearing it, meaning it goes back to foul he committed as if an ‘advantage’ was played. Shocker from the ref not to give it initially if anything but when it’s put in front of VARs eyes there’s nothing they can do but give it.

    Bang on. VAR has taken the human element out of the game for refs because the law is final and they’re too scared to make decisions.

    Enough is enough. Turn VAR into a challenge system like in cricket. Team captain has 2 unsuccessful challenges per game. Can challenge anything including throws and corners. End of story
