That fumble and subsequent TD is the killer. Holding them to field goals was one thing, but it's a 3 score game now and for a team that hasn't scored anything all game that's simply impossible.
Tbh I'm disappointed in losing the Super Bowl in such a way, but I'm hopeful we have a young team with a smattering of good veterans, a great coach, and a lot of cap space for another push in the off season0 -
No shut out.0

And of course we finally show up when it's too late0

Don’t count your chickens just yet0

Surprised they didn't go for 2 there. Would have cut the deficit to 11. Potentially a field goal and 2 point TD.0
-
And we take a PAT? Surely at this point you take a 2 point conversion, hope for another TD & 2 points and then you are a field goal back? Now we have to score 2 more touchdowns regardless. Strange decision making if you ask me, I know the game is essentially over but you want to give yourself the best mathematical chance0

That's a bad throw, probably stops any possible comeback.0

I do wonder if Mayes shoulder is worse than they're letting on, from the highest completion % in the league to constantly missing his mark, I know the Seahawks have been on him all game but he's been much better than this in the playoff games against similar defence in Houston.
That pick does it unfortunately, shame we didn't make it more of a game0 -
I didn’t watch much Pats this season but how on earth is this kid 2nd in MVP voting? Looks no different if not worse than JJ did this season.0

That's probably why you think that.cafc_harry said:I didn’t watch much Pats this season but how on earth is this kid 2nd in MVP voting? Looks no different if not worse than JJ did this season.

And that's the coup de grace0

Yep fair point, when one of the worst QB performances of all time in a Super Bowl is your sample size you’re never gonna think much of a player!sam3110 said:

Fantastic achievement! One day I hope we'll see a Charlton Athletic team that follow the Seahawks' example.0

Apparently the couple that got married during the half time show was a real wedding.
the couple had invited Bad Bunny to their wedding and he in return invited them to get married during his performance.

Congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks and to our 6 resident Seahawks fans.

Caught up this morning. Thought the first half was the better spectacle, Pats just didn’t come out firing after the break. Loved Bad Bunny’s half time show, don’t speak a word of Spanish but it was full of joy and the real marriage was a great touch.
Seahwaks defence immense and great to see Brit Aden Durde play such a big role in that2 -
Just finished watching the highlights ... not bad

That defence was suffocating - you don't need to be scoring TDs all the time if the oppo can't get on the board ... or even get far enough down the pitch to get on the board!0 -
just wasn't to be for the pats!.
3 London games next year, any rumours or confirms of what teams?, i do think the last round of fixtures here were not very good quality.0
