Worth bring in until the end of the season. Leaburn and others could learn a lot from him2

Well the role of social media influencer (who poses as a football player) is available, so he'll be perfect for thatClem_Snide said:If we are going down the route of Higher Profile free agents I think I’d take a chance and see whether Jessie Lindgaard might be interested in a short term deal. Just bring back Egbo for thisJustFloydRoad said:

Didn't do much for his No Claims Bonus either.Diebythesword said:I can see the angle that he’s a more experienced and higher quality olaofe. But I’ve heard the serious injuries he’s sustained has had a massive impact on his body. Worth a training kit and a short trial I guess.16 -
Doesn't matter in this league, all international weekends are clear of Championship games anywaygolfaddick said:
Maybe we want to get our quota up of players away on International duty now that Anderson is elsewhere.JustFloydRoad said:Probably wants to get back into the Jamacian set up?Did play for them last year (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c89ew0202zeo)Don't see any other reason he'd come to us.
Or is that why we brought Dixon back (assuming he hasn't gone out on loan again).2 -
Hasn’t kicked a ball for ages so I can see why we would be interested in him!10

NJ cultivates this image of emotional Welsh dim wit, but really he’s playing 3D chess. Sign ‘his legs are gone’ Coady and then play him as a holding midfielder, genius. Who’s to say we’d sign a forward and play him as a forward?2

Neither had 3/4 of our January loanees either! They've not done so badly?se9addick said:Hasn’t kicked a ball for ages so I can see why we would be interested in him!3 -
If Jones thinks he's more Dykes than Ahadme get him in.1

And as we already have half the Jamaican squad on our books already...fenaddick said:
He might be wanting to make a late push for the Jamaica squad. I’d be massively surprised if this happens thoughfollett said:Would have thought his wage demands would be too much for us, unless he is just looking to get back playing at this point
Maybe he's just training, after Bell, Campbell, Anderson and Dixon put a word in for him...8 -

Is that such a good idea with Miles' injury record?stjohnshill said:Worth bring in until the end of the season. Leaburn and others could learn a lot from him

If it does happen it’s pretty clear NJ has been trying to improve the mood in the dressing room recently. There’s a video of Antonio in the tunnel at West Ham this week working as a pundit and every single West Ham player individually comes over to say hello and genuinely look delighted to see him.
It’s easy to forget how young our squad is and some of the older heads (primarily thinking L Jones) are still getting used to this level. Dykes and Coady have added experience and leadership, no reason why Antonio can’t do the same13 -
Are you talking driving lessons.stjohnshill said:Worth bring in until the end of the season. Leaburn and others could learn a lot from him1 -

Appears to be a done deal from what I’ve just been told16
-
Probably take him a month to get up to speed after his inactivity but I think as long as he can offer something off the bench for the run in games I think it’s a decent bit of businessstjohnshill said:Appears to be a done deal from what I’ve just been told2 -
Jones likes quality to fit the level and great professionals. No matter their fitness (which I'm guessing he thinks is a worthwhile gamble) - look at the Rousillon, LuaLua and the likes.
We aren't getting players who are fit and have quality on our budget - Bell, Burke for example.

Interesting. Hope this isn't an indication of Leaburn's injury being worse than they're letting on.stjohnshill said:Appears to be a done deal from what I’ve just been told
Antonio very much an Olaofe-type player who's had a good career at a higher level - will be curious to see how his age and the injury he suffered have impacted his physicality since so much of his game's success was built around it.2 -
Think if this is the case NJ wouldn’t have explicitly said Leaburn is expected back for PortsmouthCallumcafc said:

He’s been brought in to drive the Valley Express from Larkfield.31

I’m genuinely serious, as I’ve been in some serious car / van accidents down the years, why people are trying to get a rise out of him for his car crashes, it’s really not funny, until you’ve been there trust me.15

Excellent captain Robbo.😂
As that was the 4th Car written off by Antonio allegedly in the last 8 years, his No claims bonus disappeared years ago !

he's either really unlucky or a complete prick when driving a car , i've driven the road a hundred times where he had his last crash and in every weather condition, it's windy and up and down etc only a twat could have an accident there with a tree2
-
Well I think at least part of it is that its happened with enough frequency that he's either the unluckiest driver in the country or he's responsible for it.Mendonca In Asdas said:I’m genuinely serious, as I’ve been in some serious car / van accidents down the years, why people are trying to get a rise out of him for his car crashes, it’s really not funny, until you’ve been there trust me.
Once can happen to anyone, twice is very unlucky but 3 or 4 times in 8 years suggests someone who really hasn't learned a thing.20 -
Likely he's an idiot who can't handle a high performance car and drives too fast.Mendonca In Asdas said:I’m genuinely serious, as I’ve been in some serious car / van accidents down the years, why people are trying to get a rise out of him for his car crashes, it’s really not funny, until you’ve been there trust me.10 -
Should get there a bit quicker than usual then.Uboat said:He’s been brought in to drive the Valley Express from Larkfield.5 -
If he can get anywhere near as fit as he was before the crash then he is exactly the sort of striker we are missing and will fit right in - a powerful runner who can also hold the ball up and score - we must bring in more pace up top whatever we do that's for sure - TC is marmite i know but the reason he is so vital to us is coz he's the only player with real pace in our team and has been since CBT and then to an extent, Small, left3
