Given the importance of tonight’s game I fancy a little wager on a red card being shown - hopefully not to an Addick0

Absolutely agree. I don't blame them for getting frustrated . Not many of us knew what was happening . They've shown their class by raising lots of money for Norm's family since.Covered End said:
In fairness they didn't know what was happening.Pelling1993 said:Hopefully the scum bags in the away end are a bit more respectful of Norm during the applause tonight12 -
As it happens,I was at the Stoke game, and am really pissed off about missing tonight, but I cant take the stress about parking a mile from the ground,if I am lucky.lancashire lad said:
As you suggest I've had a good look at myself but will not be there tonight due to my physical disability which according you makes me a fairweather supporter - thank you DoucherDOUCHER said:Positives: they've had less time to recover, they've picked up 2 more injuries, we're looking really solid and seem to have re-found a formula that gets results, we're due some luck after that 90 odd minute disaster Negatives: football don't work like that and will kick you right in the bollox plus i'm going to southampton saturday so a midweek deflater is inevitable. Oh, and hope the fairweathers that went missing against stoke take a look at themselves and get down there to support the team.

We've been doing nicely on the red card front, i'd like a couple of penalties!801912601 said:Given the importance of tonight’s game I fancy a little wager on a red card being shown - hopefully not to an Addick0 -
Whilst we have performed our way out of must win games in recent weeks, another poor run can see us back where we started. For that reason it is a game we should look for a win in and a draw would be a disapointment though admittedly not a disaster. We are at a stage where a win will push us closer to the mid table teams and that would start to feel comfortable.5
-
I'd be disappointed with a draw. All it would take is one game week of results not going our way and we're right back in it. Feels like a win will be worth far more than the actual 3 points it gives up5

Hi Help required
Can't make the game. Got Sky Sports. They have just decided to dump us off Sky Sports + but are saying we can still get the game. Pretty please with a cherry how do I do that0 -
Lets hope more turn up than last week0
-
I hope we fookin smash them and leave the R talk well and truly behind us.
A goal apiece for Godden and Kelman, and a nifty little header from Jones, Coady or Clarke would be lovely

It feels like it will be a similar game to the previous two. A couple of things are key. Firstly we continue our defensive solidity and secondly we become a bit sharper in front of goal. The first is probably up where we want it, the second has room for improvement which is a good thing.1

It is on mate I've just checked, there's usually a choice of several if the fixtures are on.graham the haddock said:Hi Help required

Every time you come out with this dig of yours about our fans not attending to the levels you expect, you end up having to follow it up with posts that you didn't mean this type type of fan or that type of fan. How about you just focus on yourself enjoying every game you go to and let everyone else get on with attending as many games that there life allows. No need for you to dig out fans you don't know several times per season.DOUCHER said:
You're 82, you are excused. Took me 30 minutes from the final whistle to pull onto my drive in Sidcup after the Stoke game. Not you obviously but others - don't grumble about the team not putting in the effort or the owners not stumping up if you don't do your bit.thickandthin63 said:
You are being very dismissive of people who dont go to games.Firstly, night games are a pain in the arse, especially 3 in two weeks, supporters may have long trips,(I live in medway,60 mile round trip).Factor in the fuel cost,if you are not a season ticket holders, its £30.00 a pop,so possibly £50-60 plus any child or wife and you quickly run up a bill. Also some may have early work starts. You then have parking problems,I wont be there tonight, normally,I have a reserved space in someones drive, when the game was rearranged, someone jumped in before me.I used to park in Canberra Road, now due to the new restrictions near the ground, everybody else has the same idea, meaning getting parked two hours before the game.I am not leaving home at 4.30 for a 7.45 KO,and no doubt many of the fairweathers,as you call them will feel the same. You can also bet the A2 will be at a standstill on the way home.At 82 years old,I will not be taking a look at myself,I have done the hard miles,Crewe and Newcastle etc. on tuesday nights,it pains me to not go to games, the decision is not taken lightly and I can do without being dug out by people like you.DOUCHER said:Positives: they've had less time to recover, they've picked up 2 more injuries, we're looking really solid and seem to have re-found a formula that gets results, we're due some luck after that 90 odd minute disaster Negatives: football don't work like that and will kick you right in the bollox plus i'm going to southampton saturday so a midweek deflater is inevitable. I’m now safely ensconced on the train from Luton Airport to Charlton, having just got back from Tenerife at 17:15. This service is perfect for Addicks who book a holiday unaware of upcoming fixture changes.5

But if you go down to Leagues and Competitions, press EFL and it is there.
All very strange.1 -
It's definitely not showing on the red button sky sports plus at the moment
I don't think it's on as it was originally a 3pm kick off 🤔 before being postponed0 -
Wasn't, it was 12.30pm and on Sky. Wife's found it so must be somewhere.lolwray said:It's definitely not showing on the red button sky sports plus at the moment

Go to the home page as usual and enter sport then football
You wont see our game there.
Instead, go further down to Leagues and Competitions, press EFL and it is there.
Whether it will work later ....!!0 -
