If we end the game with 11 men I’ll be stunned. This wanker cannot wait to send one off

Don't see how we get back here with this ref?

Yeah this is bad but it isn't second half Millwall or first half Southampton bad
Id argue it is. This is against a team who is fighting for their lives as well, and we are getting outfought.
Up until tonight they've only scored 9 away from home all season. Now they're got 2 in 45 mins.

I expect us to go down to 10 men & lose by 3 or 4.
  • We're extremely bad, but that referee performance is the worst I've ever seen.

Must have been betting on some stuff for the game. Or his bird's old man is a Pompey fan.
  • Can we all agree that two big lumps up front doesn’t work? No one to run off a flick on. Get Doc off really don’t know what he offers at all.

Blame the ref all you want but we've been shit. Clarke misses an absolute sitter early on and then let's his man go past him at every opportunity.

Our passing has been atrocious and we are getting beaten in the air constantly
Problem for Clarke is he got penalised right after the miss for a good challenge, got wound up and got himself booked. If he goes in for a challenge he could easily be booked again, even if he wins the ball

I really hope this ref gets reported
I’m not sure we’ve got much to argue against.

    Clarke kicked the ball away
    Chambers was late
Harsh on Bell, but it is a penalty technically
    Kaminski booked for dissent
The frustrating one is Leaburn, because Caballero does the exact same thing on Doc and gets nothing
  • If only Clarke had put that chance away in the opening minute.

Mind you, would it have made any difference as we have been completely hopeless since.

I'd make 3 subs at half time and completely reshape the team

Ref is awful and it will be a miracle if we finish with 11 men on the pitch .

Charlton Athletic. Causing pain and heartache for more years than I care to remember.

Wow.. Seen some dodgy refs over the years and this one is right up there. Said to my wife early he was blowing for rverything, then the cards started. 5 is ridiculous when not even 1 bad foul.

In desperation, and to help prevent a red, I would take off the 4 outfieders with yellow, and bring on Collins, TC, Fevrier, and Godden.

We may not win but at least the chances of a red would be diminished.

Good game to win from here....

As usual, we have massive gaps in our midfield. They’ve got 13 out injured have they? Embarrassing. How we could do with Ebou Adams
  • Good watching the Women win again, well done...

Is that two penalties this tosser has given against us this season?

Poor. Will be surprised if the ref doesn't show us a red card in the second half. It's almost inevitable. Will do really well to get a draw here. Can't see it and think Pompey will see the match out comfortable. Horrible feeling it may be more.

We’ve lulled them into a false sense of security and have got them right where we want them.

Brilliant, cunning plan from Jones, all we need now is a slug balancer.

Get some of those on yellow cards substituted, Clarke is struggling for example and looking like getting a second yellow.

    Agreed.

Worked at Leicester but Leaburn played out of his skin first half. And our balls long were much better.

At the moment this is a painful watch.

Triple sub required me thinks, need get as many on yellows off as possible, we're getting passed around and walked through as an 11, will be even worse if we lose anyone to a second yellow/red.

Id regrettably take off chambers, Clarke, leaburn, for Colin, Campbell, constello.

Go 4 at back, Ramsey, colin, Lloyd, bell, 4 in middle, costello right, carey left,
    Dykes and Campbell up top.

Am I right in saying that if we do go down it will be Kaminskis third on the trot?

2 big away games to come where we will have to make this up.

Either 3 points at Southampton or West Brom needed really.
Ain't going to happen. We haven't got the balls. Will lose both.

Some really poor performances, not only the referee. Leaburn, Carey and surprisingly, Clarke and Chambers, have been poor. Kaminski should have saved the first and the penalty is harsh but the ref is not allowing any challenge and Pompey are going to the floor at most of those challenges. Campbell and Kelman need to be introduced, and some players need to be read the riot act, it's been too easy for Pompey.

Do they have goalkeepers in these matches
  • We do need a massive shake up at half time, this could prove a changing point if not, c'mon NJ do your best mate

    We've been poor.

But 5 bookings is ridiculous. As was the penalty - bloke was 3 yards away and blasted it straight at him.

This ref looks like he has it in for us….no warnings about tackles…..they are play acting… just a straight yellow….
