It’s strange how things turn out at times.
Although Lisbie was reasonably successful during his time with us I never really rated him that much, indeed when he left us I wasn’t the least bit sorry to see him go.
For me, the Liverpool hatrick, although very much welcomed at the time, was something of a five minute wonder as far as I was concerned.
It’s been a great surprise to me to see him linked between and playing for some top drawer European clubs on an ongoing basis and for quite a number of years and involving huge transfer fees.
Whoever saw all that coming……I’ll wager not that many of us?🤔
Sorry, what top drawer European clubs has he played for?

Will this be the end of his involvement with Charlton TV?

I'm sure you can never take him away from the Valley (and Charlton)

As an aside Cray Valley PM have a stand dedicated to Bill Kinsey who is the brother of Brian.
Only posted as a point of interest for anyone attending their games and wondering whether there is a connection.
You will have to be of senior years to remember Brian!

I may not have been the only one tempted by the idea of a liquid brunch...

Not going Southampton, then go and support Kevin

He's had more clubs than Arnold Palmer.

Also please could the admins change the name of this thread to a Kevin Lisbie manager thread (just so we can distinguish it from the other ones) 🙏🏻
In future @JustFloydRoad could you not bump an 18 year old thread please. I know you love to recycle and Carter, Rodwell & co would appreciate your approach to sustainability but I can assure you a tree doesn’t get cut down every time someone starts a new thread :-)

Must admit I only started doing it because users on here was @ing me saying that said thread has already been made. (tbf some user made the exact same thread he made in August 2025).

It is just my way of making sure that doesn't happen and the endless notifications that come from making a new thread.

In relation to Kevin Lisbie there is about roughly 50 threads (about him) already.

No one mate should have to get notifications from starting a thread, or for anything for that matter, if they don’t want to. I certainly don’t, would drive me mad!

Click on your icon at top right of screen. Select Account & Privacy Settings, then Notification Preferences, and then untick anything you don’t want.

I get they're some of his old clubs but it's pretty ambitious to expect much take up on that offer from ST holders of Derby, Norwich and Ipswich.

I heard there was a coach load of Ipswich coming down and they've arranged a meet with a similar coach load of Norwich.

All gonna kick off on the Yorkshire Grey roundabout. You heard it here first.
