100 games or More for Charlton Athletic
Conor Coventry’s 2nd half appearance on Tuesday night v Portsmouth saw him become the 5th Charlton Athletic player in the current squad to reach 100 appearances in all competitions for the club.
Tyreece Campbell, Miles Leaburn, Lloyd Jones and Macaulay Gillesphey the other 4 to reach that milestone.
The last time Five players to hit that landmark in the same squad was back at the end of the 2014/2015 season with Johnnie Jackson, Michael Morrison, Chris Solly, Rhoys Wiggins and Lawrie Wilson.
Been a long time since we have had a bit of consistency in our squads, admittedly not helped by the many managers we have had over the years and some of the players brought into the club who were clearly not good enough to be regulars over a couple of seasons and more.

We weren't very good in the mid to late 1970s but that really didn't matter to me and others who followed them principally because we knew that they were playing for us and would be with us in all probability in seasons to come All of the following appeared in at least one squad between 1977 and 1979 (plus their appearances for CAFC)

Three full seasons, but wasn't going to cut it back in the second tier, so let go.
