Losing 2-0 to Leicester atm. Look a shadow of the side that smashed us. Whilst 3 points is the main goal....would love it if NJ got the win to shut them up.

With the trains stopping at Eastleigh we are considering drinking in Eastleigh before heading in a cab to Southampton

I'd get to Southampton centre right away tbf for 2 reasons. Firstly, traffic will be shit as trains are replacement buses and secondly, Eastleigh is a shithole.

    That sounds very sound advice.

In which case go to Steam Town Brew Co, 5 minutes walk from the station. Great craft beer and food.

Nice should be a sell out then! UTA
  • I know this hasn’t sold out yet but have a spare U18 available if anyone needs one on the day

@Elthamaddick if you have the just park app it’s quite handy I booked somewhere in student accommodation about 10 mins from the ground although booked it a while ago so might be less availability

any decent away pubs, last time I went to Southampton away it was at The Dell
  • THIRTY FUCKING QUID TO BE SHOVED UP IN A CORNER!!

We should start doing the same to any club that does that.  EFL should make it a requirement that blocks for away fans start behind one of the goals.  Why give them an equal support advantage when they don't reciprocate?
You are forgetting one very important fact here..........we don't have a 'corner' at the away end of our ground. If we had a bowl shaped stadium then yes we'd probably do the same.

Not really sure what what the issue is, it's a fairly modern stadium, decent facilities, unrestricted view etc.

Tickets for Saturday's trip to St Mary's are now off sale but can be purchased (card only) from the ground on matchday, with no price increase. Supporters who have chosen to collet tickets on the day must provide ID.

With bus replacement services operating between Eastleigh and Southampton Central due to engineering works on Saturday, supporters are advised to plain their journeys in advance and allow extra time.

" Supporters are advised to plain their journeys...."

Clearly a mis spelling but as it's Charlton, surely "pain" would be more apt ?

Yates in the city centre will generally be the designated place.

Ground is only about 20 min walk

My reccomendation if you like a proper beer/ale would be The Dancing Man Brewery opposite the Isle of Wight ferry terminal.

Not sure if home fans frequent but the Red Lion also near the Red Funnel is stacked with history! Been going since Henry V times, who gave a speech for Agincourt there!

They've also got a second venue, Raven & Bine, in the Bedford Place area of town. Loads of other bars & food options around there too.
  • Have a spare under 18 if anyone doesn’t have one don’t want anything for it
