Shame that we had that chance cleared off the line on around 40mins as well1

Is this the longest half time in the history of football or do the youngsters always get an extra long break?0

Do you have the game paused... they're into the 60th minuteFortune 82nd Minute said:Is this the longest half time in the history of football or do the youngsters always get an extra long break?2 -

U18s star Sam Washington-Amoah has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The midfielder joined the Addicks' academy at U15 level and has enjoyed a strong season under Jason Pearce.
"I'm buzzing to have signed a professional contract at the club," Washington-Amoah said. "I joined at U15s after playing in a Valley Gold tournament for Charlton and I've really enjoyed it here. It's been really exciting and I've blended in really well with my teammates.
"I've seen lots of first-team players come through the academy and there is a pathway, so I know if I do what I need to do I can get there."
Interim Academy Director Steve Avory added: "We're delighted to get Sam's professional contract over the line and see him commit himself to a future here at the academy.
"We only signed Sam as a 15 year-old so he hasn't been in the system long, but he's shown some very good progress. He's a midfield player who can play box-to-box and in a deeper role as well. He has been making the transition to the U21s and looks comfortable in that group too."
Charlton fans can support the academy by signing up to the Valley Gold scheme. Valley Gold enables fans to support the club’s academy in unearthing the talents of tomorrow, as well as giving them the chance to win cash prizes.

Good news, it'll be interesting to see how he progresses in the next few years.
He's mobile and comfortable on the ball, I think the question around whether he makes the first team is about how he handles the intensity and physicality of senior football.
Scored a great strike vs Watford in the FA Youth Cup, it's at 1:20 here:

Mobile box to box midfielder that likes a goal? I'm surprised Jones hasn't already turfed him out of the club altogether! 😉1

He has certainly been an eye catching player with good skill and close control.
Once he has the ball it isn’t easy to get it off him. He is usually obliged to operate in crowded midfield areas and therefore his personal ball retention is admirable. I think his next challenge is to make decisions more quickly so opponents don’t kind of get goal side and negate his attributes, he must build progressive relationships with team mates.
I like him, and I like the potential I see, but I believe he is a player that needs skilled coaching and development in order to progress further.0 -
We are 3-0 up against Millwall at the moment. Our keeper hasn't had to save a single shot all game so far.
Edit:
It finished 4-0 and our keeper never had a shot to save all game.7 -
Great news, that's 6-0 on aggregate between the 21s & 18s this week1
