We do have a bit of a problem with Bell where he does something insane and gets out of a bind but then passes it to one of our other players forgetting that they can't do the things with the ball he can. Sort of undoes his good work when he then asks Doc to take the ball with his back to goal and two midfielders bearing down on him

    More head tennis in midfield.
  • Hopefully its more of a precaution to take him off again.

If anyone is in any doubt what a great job NJ has done in his time here consider this:

He's managed to get us promoted to the Second Division and handily placed to survive in said division despite not having a single player capable of completing a simple pass to a team-mate.

Our football is awful. No cohesion in midfield, Miles & Dykes win flick-ons to nobody. Dreadful.
  • We could be f***ed!

I fear for us without Lloyd.

We send the ball forward but the WBA keeper rushes to the edge of his box to grab it.

Really good from Leaburn in the LB position

Thought maybe Coventry on and put Coady at the back but hopefully Sichenje slots in well.
  • Shame that we've had to waste a stoppage for a substitute though
  • Can't help but feel that we would benefit from someone quick up front to hassle their back line.

West Brom defenders are playing sideways balls around Leaburn and Dykes and it would be interesting to see them have to make quick decisions
Stupid to Play Leaburn & Dykes from the off, no pace up front, FFS Jones !!!

Great work from Leaburn to shield the ball out for our goal kick.

Oh dear. In some ways it seems improbable he's soldiered on this far as it feels like Lloydy has been carrying some kind of knock every week since August, but what a blow it'll be if he is out for any period of time. Absolutely critical to our survival hopes because we sure as shit ain't going to blow anyone away with our free flowing, high scoring, total football.

So did Coventry, he went to warm up before being told to sit down

Would absolutely take a 0-0 now with other results going slightly better.

I don't think they're issue is the two big men, it's more the lack of attacking threat down the flanks. We've not had a single decent attack down the flanks. Bell has barely played a single pass forward to Chambers.

The no threat going forward comment is an understatement.

Got to feel for Leaburn & Dykes, we've not put a single ball in the box for them to attack

We have a throw that goes into the box, but their keeper has it.

Leicester are winning, the rest are losing, the gap to 22nd comes down by a point
