Unusual name, so possibly a descendent of Jacques-René Hébert, most extreme of all the French revolutionaries. He denounced Robespierre for being too conservative, for example. I guess our trialist is a left-winger. Do we use wingers?

Hebert was on team sheet as the number 11.

A very solid performance from the Charlton side.

Again proves that Dixon is in a weird space where he's probably not quite ready for the rigours of men's football in the English league system (certainly not in a shite clogger side like Crawley anyway) but looks absolutely mustard against unders

He was very mobile throughout the game today despite some heavy challenges. Still think he needs more time to develop.

How did Hebert do? What type of winger is he?

It was. He was running into a strong headwind.

He had a very good game. Strong runner. Kept out wide on the right.

The lad has bags of talent. Personally I would try him as a bench option. Certainly quicker than Fevrier (who I am not writing off yet, but has been a bit meh so far) Would allow us to switch from 3-5-2 to a 4-3-3/3-4-3.

You would simply keep Dykes or Leaburn in the middle and put TC one side and KD the other and play it to their feet or over the top for them to run onto. I think the 9 then gets more opportunities to score from assists from the sides or to flick on beyond the defence and hopefully get assists.

Dixon's hat trick on Tuesday came from playing down the middle. This suits his style and speed. I don't think he is a winger.

Do you think he could do the hybrid striker/winger role we've seen TC in?

Brooks getting a game along with Valentine and Burnham from the u18s and the trialist, presumably the Dorking winger.

    Looks like 3-4-3

    Brooks

    Hunter Laq Ewens-Findlay

    Brown Amissah Mitchell Valentine

    Dixon Burnham Trialist

Brown and Valentine are both right footed so could be either way around.

Will be interesting to see Burnham at this level, he has height, pace, strength and aggression, but I thought his hold up play needed work going on the u18 youth cup game the other day. He’s of the u18s top scorers this season, but not a goal machine like Kanu, Casey and Mbick were at that level.

    Half time. 1-0
Charlton have dominated, the mystery is why it isn't more than one goal.
Mitchell has played deep lying midfield mainly, and Dixon remains greased lightning.
Lots of very good play from all of the Charlton players, Millwall have been disjointed.

Possibly. Hard to judge on what I have seen of him.

Happy Valentine’s! Phoenix scores from outside the box, cutting inside onto his right. 2-0.
