That is definitely one of the weirder line-ups Nathan has come out with. Might be the weirdest. Not good that Kaminski is out whatever anyone says, especially if it's an injury that will keep him out for a number of games. I don't know if it's Ramsay, Burke and Jones at centre back or Ramsay and Clarke are WBs but it seems crazy to put Burke in alongside an already injured Jones and even crazier to risk Bell at LWB if he has. Dropping Doc could only be because he's tired but swapping him for Berry which puts Carey into the deeper role where he's never been good and requires that Berry scores at least one goal to offset everything else is asking a lot. Every time I looked at that lineup something different surprised me. It's so odd we'll probably win 10-0.

So are we thinking 5 at the back or a flat back 4?

Could we play 4 at the back, with Berry and Carey behind Dykes, and TC and Clarke as the wide midfielders?

I mean, we could legally but it would be horrible. Clarke is a fullback, if we were going to play someone wide right it would be Fevrier surely

Is this a Mixed Welsh Choir doing the warm up?
  • Nice interview with Kayne Ramsay that Fen mentioned in the Match Preview... I like how Kayne mentioned at the end that he hopes to be playing Championship Football here next season - I think if we stay up quick enough, then we might get extensions for him Conor and Lloyd

If Berry is the answer I'm not sure I want to hear the question!

In Nathan we trust... I think🤔
Who would you have in a “Food XI”?
    Luke “the Final Straw” Berry.

90 minutes of football and he won't be able to move let alone score

It's a shame how little we have seen of JRC this season.

Maybe a first half winner but no way he'll last 90+ minutes.

You're expecting Berry to last until the last minute?

    Afternoon all

A bit later in the ground than usual: was parked up at 1pm, which is good for us, left the car at 1:50pm to walk down ... and it was only when we were approaching Harvey Gardens I realised I'd left my wallet in the car so had to walk back up the hill to the other side of Charlton Park before coming back.

    I'm buggered now!

Maybe 4 at the back with Ramsay and Bell playing RB and LB using Clarke and TC as wingers with Berry just behind Dykes?

God, and hopefully Nathan Jones and the team only know.

Surely NJ is trying something to not only freshen up the team, but negate Wrexham's assumed gameplan.

With that lineup, I would be surprised if we started 3-5-2.

I imagine Berry is there to add a spark of creativity around the box or pouncing on a loose ball for a poke at goal. Yeah, his legs have gone but if others do his running for him ......you never know.

That's a proper face drop line up if I've ever seen one.

Was hoping we’d be able to sneak a point today, but looking at that team, I can’t see anything but a comprehensive win for Wrexham
  • Watch Berry come up with the last minute (in the first half) winner...😉

I'm willing to cut Nathan Jones a hell of a lot of slack but if he's lining up with Harry Clarke as a right winger in a 4231 at home then he'd better start lubing up in preparation for the return of my ticket

So we’ve got Jones playing on one leg, Berry playing with no legs (gone) and Bell soon to be playing with no hamstrings left

Nathan Jones is he own man but Carey our top scorer needs to be the 10 not Berry.

I can see Lloyd coming off early doors like he did at Wrexham last season.

Has Berry been smashing it in training ?

I love it, really love it if Berry can prove us all wrong.

Away from the team , (which I find a bit scary) the crowd size is interesting me. Last season it was full for this one. How come it looks like nothing special this time, a division higher? What that says to me is that a lot of casual fans are getting tired of the Wrexham circus.
